What school?ND?
Haven’t heard from ND yet. This one is WVU.

They told them the day before that their cruise was cancelled?? What if people flew down for it?Oh man... they've canceled ANOTHER Princess Cruise now. There is a state of emergency for Broward County... 4 cases and 3 of them work at Port Everglades. This is such a cluster. And now news that there is another testing setback for America. Awful. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/10/us/coronavirus-testing-delays.html?action=click&module=Top Stories&pgtype=Homepage
That stinks. They do that with hurricanes too. Cruising is a risky business. I've been lucky so far 25 cruises and no problems. Knock on wood. They told them the day before that their cruise was cancelled?? What if people flew down for it?
Our school district covers our town and half of the next town over. The school district covering the other half announced today that they cancelled all after school activities today and school and activities tomorrow to clean the schools. A person COVID 19 positive was apparently at an after school event a week ago. I told DH to bring home everything he needs to work from home in case our district follows suit.To move in the opposite direction of kids ages - DD6's after school care (which is also a full time daycare for younger kids) announced that children are not allowed to go if they have any illness symptoms at all, including just a runny nose. And of course DD3 (who goes to a different daycare that does not have this policy) comes home today with... a runny nose.

I mean they were crazy to still go on a cruise imo but one day’s notice is roughThat stinks. They do that with hurricanes too. Cruising is a risky business. I've been lucky so far 25 cruises and no problems. Knock on wood.
That’s what I would do lol. I was hoping resort prices would drop but they haven’t
I'd probably get a swanky room at Universal since its too late for fast passes.
Wow that’s crazy! That's the way it has been. I was on Cruise Critic all weekend, watching the drama. The Royal and Regal had issues too. I believe it was the Regal that canceled the day of embarkation after people waited for like 10 hours.
There are people on the Cruise Critic roll calls right now booked on this cruise that do not know this thing is apparently canceled. It is sad.
A lot of cruises are still sailing without problems, and I'd still sail, but I wonder what the lack of workers at the port is about. That's a whole new problem.I mean they were crazy to still go on a cruise imo but one day’s notice is rough

I would never consider getting on a cruise ship right now but I guess that’s just me. Seems like a crazy thing to doA lot of cruises are still sailing without problems, and I'd still sail, but I wonder what the lack of workers at the port is about. That's a whole new problem.
You might still be right. I thought they changed it but the FAQ still says points will be returned for no shows:After the flight takes off...(half kidding - do they still refund points like that?? I feel like they used to if I recall correctly!). I’d go with the 10 minute ahead of time plan though.
