i loved Midway! probably why i fell asleep to JojoRabbit lol
We must have very different tastes in movies lol. I thought Jojo Rabbit was really funny. The little boy name Yorkie was hilarious. I've been on the computer while Dh is watching Midway. He said he doesn't like it as much and probably wouldn't watch it again.

I thought Midway was really good!! Give it a chance!
Well we're about halfway through and I don't like it at all lol. It's not my type of movie I guess. One thing I don't really like is all of the famous actors. I'm kind of weird because I like seeing new actors in movies. Otherwise I just associate them with their previous roles. I normally don't like war movies, but I really enjoyed 1917 when we saw it in the theater.

My dd loved JoJo rabbit. I wanted to see it with her but it didn’t work out. She said she cried. A lot.

Thank you so much! And you're welcome, glad someone else is interested. I feel much better about it knowing that you went for it with a $300 bonus. I'm just wondering how many currencies I want to get myself into...it's getting a little out of control.
Well, good or bad, it's just a plain cash back card, so no complicated currency to keep track of. I was able to transfer the bonus and any cash back right into the BoA checking account. Then it gets transferred to my Discover vacation savings account where I stash my cash back so it can earn a little interest.

I think it also is eligible for the BankAmeriDeals which is like Chase Offers.

Maybe this card will work better for me. I've actually been thinking that I'd like to offset vacation dining/entertainment costs that can't be purchased with points. So this card with $500 statement credit could work for that. Won't count against */24, no AF, $5kMSR. Maybe I'm just grasping at straws here because I'm without an MSR, but seems like a decent offer. I know we don't talk about BoA much, and from reading I may not even be approved. Has anyone gotten this card?

I'd like this offer too... but I hate BOA, so nah. 🤣

I think I've been bonvoyed again. Seems like the hotel I booked on points for this summer will not be a Marriott property by then. They want DH to call and discuss his alternatives. I think we still have the option of staying there but with no perks. I can just imagine getting the worst room in the place because we booked on points from a program they no longer deal with.

One of these hotels?

Aww, well at least you tried and now you know. No regrets. I do think if we all liked the same things, life would be boring. Variety and diversity is good! :o

Yes. It's in Prague. I have to decide what to do.

Eta: I could book either a Marriott or a Courtyard or I could take me chances.

Frankly, I would cancel and rebook elsewhere. I absolutely would not trust Marriott in a situation like this. See, for example:

I booked a Marriott hotel in California this past December with Lifemiles and it was fine, no issues. I booked a Marriott in Copenhagen this Summer with lifemiles . I will report back on how this worked out. I have no other use for MR's than hotels. I transferred my Marriot points to AA a few months ago, and I plan on cancelling my Marriott Biz when the AF posts. I thought it would be good card to have, but all the negative reports are scaring me off.

Oof. I concur with Lain and would jump ship to something solidly in the Marriott program if you’re using Marriott points. I simply do not trust Bonvoy to do the right thing, way too many tales of them not doing the right thing out there.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this but I had a $20 off $100 at Staples Chase offer on my CIC, a $10 off $100 on my CIP and a 10% with up to $17 back on my third Chase business card.

Was just going to post about this...
Between DH and I we have various offers
$30 back spend $100 or more
$20 back spend $100
$10 back spend $100
10% back up to $17

I have this card. I opened a biz checking (for a bonus) a few months before applying. I applied for the checking online and remember them asking for some document afterward, but I had read DPs that they don't follow up on that requirement and that proved true for me. I have kept the biz checking open because the acct has "DBA" on it and I have used it as proof of biz for opening other accts. I had no issues getting approved for the cc. I seldom use it, but it offers decent rewards for a no fee card and the elevated bonus is good. If you have a mortgage, there were DPs of it coding well for plastiq.
Eta: Just want to add that the preferred rewards program, as I understand it, is an either or situation. You either set up Merrill as a biz acct or personal. I have it on the personal side and only get elevated rewards on my personal cards.

I just checked- between DH and I we have 5 chase business cards. One with $30 off a $100, one with $200 of $100, one with $10 off $100 and two with 10% back up to $17.

leave for wdw at the end of this week. Trying to decide between just buying Disney gc or buying fee free Visa cards and then ordering Disney gc on bjs with them. Just worried I won’t get the cards in the mail on time. I have an online only membership.
