After a denial from Chase... is there any reason they'd be sending something in the mail from "Chase Business Card Services"??? Is there a chance I misunderstood the denial message? Do they send an explanation letter or something? Or...dare I hope...?

(I did find my Informed Delivery in my junk mail... thankyouverymuch Gmail and your unreliable filters... and that is what my husband has waiting. Of course the mail won't be delivered here for a few more hours.)
They’ll send you an explanation of the denial.

@ten6mom - I think the cc companies have to send a letter after a denial- hopefully it will have a fixable solution but even if not you’ll know where you stand with Chase. In 2004 I was denied a Disney card and found out my identity had been used by a family member to obtain a credit card they had defaulted payments on. So it can be very helpful to see what the letter says.

I am not sure. It has been really annoying since May. Choice more limited so find one for each family member at the same time is practically impossible. I just got the boys plain since their upgraded AP bands just came in and they haven’t used them yet.
How do we get the AP bands? I've not gotten anything like that and Disney never told us to go order any.

Thank you! I could try to piece it together with a 4-night if that would be better for a first timer! There seemed to be a lot of those listed as well. Wow, 10 nights Europe?! I may have to work my way up to that LOL

I do think it's worth it because the 3 night is essentially just 2 days on the ship. My first cruise was a 3 night one just to check things out, but I preferred the 4 night one we took. Plus it makes it easier to get there in advance, etc. We actually used the 4 night cruise as a way to take a break in the middle of a busy WDW trip.

And yes, I worked my way up to that cruise, but sailing around the Caribbean doesn't really excite me. We sailed on the Wonder in Alaska and it was wonderful. Then tried the Magic to Norway, Iceland, and Scotland and that was by far the best trip ever! We saw so much, and it was so easy to plan. Going back on the Magic next summer.

I'm doing the 4 night as well just to try it out and see how we like it, and to see how DD does on a cruise. I liked the 4 night because it is Monday to Thursday night...so its easy to add on Sat and Sun and Friday and Sat to the beginning and end respectively, and still only take 1 week of vaca from work.

Exactly! I hope you like it. The 3 night one was our test cruise, but the 4 night was better and gave us a nice break in between all those busy, crazy, running around all day park days at WDW. DD had one week off for spring break in college and we met her down in FL for a WDW-DCL-WDW week and it was great.

I've gone and looked at bands but what makes it an AP band? or an upgraded band?

I think you just get a free MB when you have an AP, so that's the AP band. I guess you can upgrade it now. Oh, and it comes with a slider thing saying you have an AP, but I never used mine.

ETA - it showed up on MDE once I had activated my AP in the parks, not when I actually purchased it.

Anyone who uses ECV rentals or stroller rentals- Disney is apparently stopping the dropping off/picking up at Bell Services. It sounds like reservations made prior to Oct 1 will be allowed to use the old Bell Service pick-up/drop off but after that you have to meet your reps in person. WHAT a pain that will be. 2 scooter companies have confirmed it according to the comments, Disney has not officially commented. https://www.disboards.com/threads/d...-vendor-for-both-drop-off-and-pickup.3771682/
Thanks for posting, just made my stroller reservation for upcoming trip. I used Magic Strollers with coupon code MSDVC for $5 off.

Hi everyone!! I’ve lurked on this thread for a while but posting for the first time with questions. I’m not a hardcore churner but am a “casual player” of the cc rewards hobby and am thrilled to say I got approved for the CSP today! I had a Just For You preapproval (green check) for it on my Chase app and the Sapphire Preferred has been a goal card for me since I started the journey of rebuilding my credit 2 years ago. (Long and sad story but I survived an abusive relationship that left my finances in shambles for years.) I’m really excited to be 2/3rds to having the coveted Chase trifecta, having a CFU already.

My question is mainly about how Chase codes at the World. I’m only familiar with Discover and Barclays in terms of merchant coding because those are the only bonus category cards I’ve ever used at WDW, since CFU is same cashback on everything. Do Food & Wine booths code as Dining or “Entertainment” as an example?

I charge to my on-site room so that’s all I know. Anything you charge to your room will code as “lodging- travel” fwiw

I would love to do an Alaskan or european cruise.

Anyone doing Incredible Bank I got my approval today! Two day turnaround for me.
I did mine yesterday. No approval yet.

And BB&T is being closed next week. PNC was closed last week.

I'm sort of without an MSR. I have Amex BBC which I've put $8,500 or so on. Need to get to $15,000 in 10 months or so. No rush. Time for another CIP. Just trying to time it to have it approved within 90 days of my next quarterly tax payment. So probably next month.

Congrats on getting out of an abusive relationship and rebuilding your credit...
My CSR coded as food and drink...at the flower and garden booths...so I would think the food and wine booths would code the same
