Is anyone else having trouble with Chase's SM system? I want to cancel my CIC by SM. Every time I try to send an SM for my CIC account, though, there's no record of the SM at all. It's not in my sent box, and it's never registered or replied to by Chase. The SM system is working for my CIP though, because I used it to successfully lower my CL last week. Anyone have a workaround suggestion, or should I just call to cancel?
I had the same thing happen yesterday when I asked to move credit from my CIP to CIC...sent the SM in the morning, when into my account later on and it was not there
Sent a second SM, checked my sent box and it was there...this morning checked and the CL’s have been adjusted

Anyone else read online that DCL is tightening up the placeholder deals? Sounds like no more OBC starting this week (depending on which ship you're sailing). I guess this has to do with the new ships coming online in 2 years...

We have done the parks first then the cruise...however you decide to do it you’ll have a great time
Thank you! I've never been on a cruise so I figure this should be fun!!
I was hoping to celebrate my 40th onboard in April but the itineraries are lame. DCL really needs to shake it up a bit for us repeat sailers.

For you, I'd suggest an eastern if you can swing a full week.
I usually sandwich it inbetween, even if the after is only 1 night. I like to be there prior, even if I just stay at the hyatt mco. If I have time we do WDW for a couple nights. Then after the cruise I go back to wdw to ease the depression.
I was going to start with the smallest trip because I have never been on a cruise before. Hoping I feel ok and have a blast. I originally thought starting with the cruise would have been nice, but then got paranoid my plane could delay and miss the cruise departure :scared:

Hyatt MCO is an interesting option considering I have URs and the favorable transfer. It looks like the 3 night cruises are Fri, Sat, Sun so I would have to try and fit it around that. I also assume the one by Easter will be absolutely crazy 🤣

I would suggest the 4 night if the dates work out. It will give you one day at sea and honestly it's still a short cruise but will give you a better sense of what DCL is about. I've been on both the 3 and the 4 and I prefer the 4. Well, ok, I prefer 10 nights in Europe, but that's another story. :rotfl:

Thank you! I could try to piece it together with a 4-night if that would be better for a first timer! There seemed to be a lot of those listed as well. Wow, 10 nights Europe?! I may have to work my way up to that LOL

We did a 3 night because it worked better with our schedule but I definitely felt like we had nowhere near enough time to see some of the stuff... A 4 night was just hard to work in by the time we knew (it was a wedding gift) and would have taken away from my F&W time... :rotfl:

I'm doing the 4 night as well just to try it out and see how we like it, and to see how DD does on a cruise. I liked the 4 night because it is Monday to Thursday night...so its easy to add on Sat and Sun and Friday and Sat to the beginning and end respectively, and still only take 1 week of vaca from work.

Anyone who uses ECV rentals or stroller rentals- Disney is apparently stopping the dropping off/picking up at Bell Services. It sounds like reservations made prior to Oct 1 will be allowed to use the old Bell Service pick-up/drop off but after that you have to meet your reps in person. WHAT a pain that will be. 2 scooter companies have confirmed it according to the comments, Disney has not officially commented. https://www.disboards.com/threads/d...-vendor-for-both-drop-off-and-pickup.3771682/

You should absolutely call and try to get it fixed... You should also read ALL OF THIS below to see just how deep and frustrating this can get:

...INSANE...what I had to go through to get 52k Hilton points that were absolutely MINE. I don't even like Hilton points...it was just about the principle!!!

And the bad news is depending on how many clicks you get with Amex this year... you might get a 1099 for those points even if you never get them... and that's the part that really stinks. 😢

EDIT: (Although that might not happen in your case now that I think about it because in my example...Amex knew I had gotten the points...they just never got sent to Hilton...) Your situation might be different than mine altogether now that I think about it...but it's possible that the reps you're speaking to are also terrible because most of the ones I talked to were.
Oh my goodness... I forgot about that whole debacle! I can totally understand why you kept fighting until you got your points, but in my situation I'm just not sure it's worth my time and frustration. I think it's definitely worth a phone call, as I don't think those chat representatives have much authority. But if it's going to involve more than one or two phone calls I think I'll just have to let it go.

:faint: So not convenient!

After a denial from Chase... is there any reason they'd be sending something in the mail from "Chase Business Card Services"??? Is there a chance I misunderstood the denial message? Do they send an explanation letter or something? Or...dare I hope...?

(I did find my Informed Delivery in my junk mail... thankyouverymuch Gmail and your unreliable filters... and that is what my husband has waiting. Of course the mail won't be delivered here for a few more hours.)
