I know some here keep up with reddit so didn’t know how it was over there.I think some of us are looking at CIP3 but no CIP4's yet as far as I've seen.

I honestly have no idea when we want to go... whenever we get the best deal I guess. We haven’t been anywhere other than a local trip or to Disney since we’ve been married. Probably sometime next Summer when the kids are out of school and my parents can hopefully keep them.
I’d just say “You know what else ‘looks cool’?? Flying for free and taking awesome trips!!”
People out there have definitely gone for CIP4.I know some here keep up with reddit so didn’t know how it was over there.
It costs $200 lol. That would be my reason not to do it twice. Ours is just sitting on our living room floorWhat is wrong with me? I am considering making TWO Droid Depot reservations when I go in October.Any reason I shouldn't? LOL
UGH, yes, money. I will also want a personality chip and that $39.99 backpack is cute! The thing is my mom saw a video online and now she wants oneIt costs $200 lol. That would be my reason not to do it twice. Ours is just sitting on our living room floor

How long did the whole process take? I am curious how I should stagger the appointments.

At this point I don’t think there’s anything stopping people from getting more. The only consideration is could there be negative ramifications in the future when Chase finally shuts down the loophole.
As long as people are following pacing recommendations there have been no shutdowns. I obviously can’t opine (nor can anybody) on what Chase might do in the future once they figure out how much CIPpy has cost them. They do not have a track record of clawing back points for what it’s worth.Has chase been doing shutdowns lately? We have quite a few bills to pay and could easily meet the spend on two CIPs right now.
Now just hoping DH gets approvalAs long as people are following pacing recommendations there have been no shutdowns. Thanks! I think I want the appointments at the very end of the night because I do not want to lug the droids on say... RnRWe were there on day 1 of previews and from the time we walked into the depot, talked to a CM for background info and pricing, until we walked out with an adorable BB8 was 20 minutes (checked photo time stamps to be sure). We didn’t have to wait for a bay to build and DD knew exactly what she wanted to make. We also rang up a personality chip at the register after the build.
I’m intrigued to see how sustainable it turns out to be as a business model. I would never want to stay there as I’m not a SW fan.How do people here feel about this Star Wars hotel experience? My initial concern is not seeing actual daylight or breathing fresh air for the majority of a 48 hour period...haha.
Yes! I felt like I was the only one!Anyone else ever use cardmatch and put in all your info and only get Chase offers? That's all dh or I ever get. Is it where we live or what?? I read these blogs that just tell everyone to check cardmatch to see if targeted for the 100k plat offer but no Amex ever comes up for us.
Disneyland broke Star Wars Land. They’re in the dog house forever.... maybe we can get a Pluto ride? And poor DL they have barley gotten any new announcements at the past few D23 announcements. The parade is cool and a new e ticket attraction, but Tomorrowland and Hollywood land need love there.
Is there a trick to using IHG points? They're easy to earn since I can plastiq my mortgage. But, I can never find the room I need on points, it's always only cash. We have a tourney end of Nov and I'd really like to book a suite (2 bed + pullout), but I can only get 2 beds. Of 3 IHG hotels in the area, only that one room is what I'm seeing on points. I wanted to book through IHG rather than CSR.
It's always "reward nights not available for one or more of the selected dates".
No advice, I ran into the same problem trying to use IHG points. I rarely use them, usually it's a stop over somewhere rural on a long drive. I can never find a reward night available when I really need it.
Yes! All these blogs act like there is somewhere to click to access all offers but I don't have anything like that nor does dh. We both get only chase and all offers are cards we hold lol!On the cardmatch thing it is the same for both my information and DH. All the blogs say something to the effect to click on left side for all offers.” But there is no where to click that! I am glad I am prequalified for the Freedom Unlimited...only problem being I have had that card for years! Apparently a new round for 100k Plat offers came out again; I guess I will try tomorrow for DH to get it to come up but honestly I am not optimistic. (I don’t feel like being frustrated with it tonight).

Uh Oh - you have quoted the Site who shall not be namedRumors are Tomorrowland, Toontown, and Hollywoodland are getting some much needed love and money in coming years.

Kind of makes sense that TDA would turn their attention to these three lands once Avengers Campus is complete and opens next year. Toontown is looking shabby these days and Tomorrowland has no coherent theming anymore and is a mishmash of franchises that don’t mesh well together, e.g., Star Tours and (Hyper)Space Mountain, and Toy Story with Buzz Lightyear and Pizza Planet, Finding Nemo Subs right next to gas guzzling Autopia sponsored by Honda?; and abandoned or neglected spaces, e.g., Peoplemover/Rocket Rod’s tracks, Innoventions, which had this cool Avengers walkthrough and meet and greet, which turned into Star Wars Launch Bay, which is basically now a glorified Star Wars gift shop that barely anyone visits anymore because they’re off in Batuu.
The only other rumored development I’ve read about in recent years is a version of new Fantasyland for Disneyland. However, I really love the storybook village feel around the carousel and dark rides, but maybe TDA could reimagine the space between the Matterhorn all the way to It’s a Small World and Fantasyland Theater.
