Quick question. If I add my mom to my (DH) CIC as an employee, can I then transfer points to/from her CSP?

I'm not 100% sure about this, but Chase's rules state "You can move your points, but only to another Chase card with Ultimate Rewards belonging to you, or one member of your household or owner of the company, as applicable."

Mom can move points from her CIC employee card > DH's CIC (owner of the company) > You (member of DH's household), but I'm not sure if Mom can move points from her CSP to her CIC employee card (because it's not "her" account) > DH's CIC > You.

I don't think you can do it the other way around to transfer points to her CSP.

I just logged in to pay my JetBlue personal card and got a pop-up with an offer for the biz card. I know people have been burned on them in the past, but I couldn't resist it. Instant approval, so hopefully they don't come after me for business docs I don't have. I'm flying from RIC to MCO next month and would love the free checked bag! Plus we just booked a cruise out of NYC for October and I will need to book flights for that. Although I suspect I will not have met the MSR in time to use these points. Ugh, also realized I didn't screenshot the offer. Oh well!

THIS is why I don't go into the ocean! Nope, nope and nope.

You are in Deerfield Beach! The company I work for is in Deerfield Beach. If you are looking for a cool place to eat with a nice view of the beach/ocean and good food, I'd recommend JBs on the Beach at 300 NE 21st Ave

OMG, I adore Mystic Manor and completely fell in love with Albert  who now comes with me attached to my ABD backpack on all of our trips. Here he is hanging out with Chandu from TDS on the way to Scotland. Yes, I'm a nerd and don't care.

My dd and I each have the same Chandu! LOVE him!

I'm with you on the ocean! The closest I've come to going in the ocean in Florida is running along the shore -- my feet get wet only when I underestimate the incoming waves. Just NO WAY am I ever going in water where sharks live (1 exception was the Great Barrier Reef and there was a lot of fear in that very difficult swim {water was quite rough}, however we got to see Nemo swimming into the anemone, so it was worth it!).

Offer popped up again so I grabbed a photo. And realized MSR is only $1k so maybe I'll get the points in time.
I did just get alerts from both InfoArmor and Mint saying my credit was pulled. Been a long time since that's happened!

Hello,
Novice here trying to make heads or tails of the churning game. Here are my cards:
10/17 Chase Southwest plus
04/18 Chase Southwest business premiere
07/19 Chase Saphire preferred
7/16 Costco Citi visa
2007 Am Express blue cash preferred

I earned the free companion pass with SW in June 2018, and will earn another one this year for 2020 because of spending (mostly from the business card)
Husband does not play along (he has multiple cards but can't seem to pay off balances :) )
Right now, I average $7000 per month on the business card, and $2000 on the SW plus. I use the Am Ex mostly for a monthly $500 Disney gift card at Kroger earning the 4x fuel points so I get back $360 per year (6% back from Am Ex plus the 14% savings on gas).
I use the Disney gift cards to mostly pay for cruises and spending on the ships and in the parks.
Mostly fly Southwest but looking for opportunites to fly other airlines for overseas travel, so I signed up for the Chase Saphire preferred last week. I plan to wait a month or 2, then sign up for the Chase Ink business.
Looking for advice on whether I should cancel the SW cards. When can you reapply and get bonus points again? Also looking for suggestions if anyone thinks of a better business card than the Ink. Any other feedback would be helpful!

Discover It 5x with Paypal question - If I need to return an item purchased through paypal (linked to Discover IT for 5x cash back) will the refund go into my paypal balance or back on my Discover It card?

I was afraid it’s too good to be true. Actually I would love to transfer all her CSP points to DHs CSR. She wants to book a lake cruise brunch for the family and is 4K UR short. Of course it would be fewer URs with CSR. I guess I’ll end up booking 8 people with her points and 1 with my points

Omg—house smells funny because I’m cleaning the oven. But upstairs smelled like roasted marshmallow. Went in bathroom and see smoke around my makeup mirror. Sunlight came in through my skylight, hit mirror, and burned a hole in my towel hanging on the door. Go figure!

Instant approval for DH for the Amex Hilton Biz with a referral from my Platinum. No clue what we’ll use the points or certificate on but we’re shy on MSR and I’m trying to build a well rounded stash of various points. I thought DH already had 5 Amex credit cards but he only had 3 (now 4). I think we’re still going to close his Amex Delta Gold since the fee is due. I have one and even for his annual guys trip it’s cheaper for him to pay for checked bags vs. the fee.

That's one thing. It is more difficult to use if you don't plan well in advance, typically 7 month or more. We have one big family trip a year that is always planned and booked at 11 months out. We know we are likely going to F&W most weekends and will book nearly every weekend 11 months out. The rest are usually last minute or a couple of months notice when friends from around the country are coming to WDW and want to meet up for dinner or something. Sometimes we find last minute availability and sometimes we don't. This is where our BobBlah FN certs come into play. If DVC has nothing available, I have always found one of the Marriott properties taking FN certs.

Awesome review! The humidity and heat in HK is fierce! I'd go back but just to go to the park TBH.

I agree about Iron Man. It was awkward. We never did the Army parachute thing. Maybe next time we visit. Thanks for the tips about the hotel choices. I'll keep that in mind for the next time we decide to do all the Asia parks. We lost count of how many times we did MM though LOL Off to go read the rest of your thoughts on DISchurners. Thanks for sharing!
I have been looking at the confirmed reservations on the dvc rental store and will try to snatch one when I see one that works for us. I’ve seen a couple at 70% off.
