We leave for WDW June 7! But when we were at DLR last, they only had very limited sizes. Did they have a good selection at WDW? That would be awesome!

We go on the 19th. A couple weeks ago they had them in the emporium and in the shop by the tiki riom/where a aladdin and jasmine meet. Each place had a whole rack with multiples of each size. Hope they are still there! Shopping app also says they are at Star trader's...

Well that's weird. The Hilton Biz is hubby's card so I can't check but his existing link is working and I see it from my MR card so it's not been completely removed from the RAF program. Sounds like you have a glitch on your card, might be worth a call to see if there's something they can do. Your "friend" is very excited to apply after your DH raved about his card

The hubby ended up calling last night anyway. Way back (like 3 months ago) he had received 2 cards. He only activated 1. Of course the “authorized user” card came 1st and that’s the one he activated and used. I also realized that I somehow got him the Ascend PERSONAL card, not the BIZ card. Oy! I know he had email offers for both so darn it. Attention to detail is clearly my biggest downfall. “Good news” he got access to the Hilton rewards account and his bonus points were all in there. Bad news, they said there is no referral offers on that card right now. Oh well.

Now that makes a new question......do I start going down the AA hole? Or have him go for the Hilton BIZ now? He applied for the personal Hilton AMEX in Jan 2019.

So second part of my Hilton Honors evening fun. We're going to Vegas in Nov. I read on Points with a Crew that I can take DH's Hilton Ascend Gold status and match to Whydham Diamond Status and then take that and get Ceasars Diamond Status. It's got quite a few benefits we'd use including $100 dining and free ticket shows (not to mention free parking and no resort fees if we change resorts and stay at one of their hotels instead of Bellagio.) Has anyone successfully done this and know how long it takes? I only submitted the Whydham part so far and it says "we'll have a team look at this."

I can't talk you out of it cause I use plastiq a lot to help with my MSR's. Keep in mind, your mortgage can really only be paid *easily* with a MC. Amex and Visa require a serious workaround and that can be very YMMV.

So if you go the MC route on Plastique you don't have to change the name of your mortgage company? My mortgage is through First Bank and for the life of me, I couldn't come up with an alternative "name" to get that one to go through so I kinda gave up on meeting some MSR's using Plastique. Seemed like a pain and I just figured I would slow my roll. But, if I can put the mortgage through on Plastique to meet some GrAAvy train MSR's, I could get back in gear and have DH apply as player 2 on the AA cards and CIP's. The only other bill that I could put through Plastique would be Toyota and if I remember right someone else has had that go through with no problems.

Payment of mortgages using Mastercard and Discover is allowed on Plastiq, so there’s no need for creative workarounds to get a mortgage payment through like you’d have to do if you wanted to use a Visa or Amex.

Mortgage payments using Visa or Amex are not allowed on Plastiq, and Plastiq will filter these payments by the recipient name. If you try to pay a known bank or other financial institution that handles loans and mortgages, you’ll get a message that you can’t pay this Recipient with a Visa or Amex and the payment won’t go through. Changing the Recipient’s name sometimes works to get around that filter, but Plastiq can always flag payments for manual review. You’ll get none of these problems paying with a Mastercard because mortgage payments using a Mastercard are allowed (or at least not prohibited like with Visa and Amex).

Decided to apply for BBP at 3 am and got a message to call AmEx. Do I call or wait it out? I had logged into my account and there was very little information I needed to enter.

Are you at your 5 Amex credit card limit, or have you already been approved for 2 Amex credit cards in the last 90 days?

And it was a simple call to AmEx for verification I guess that's what happens when you apply for a credit card in the middle of the night. No questions about my business, just verified my date of birth, quickly ran it through the approval and offered to expedite the card for me. She did ask if I would like to take advantage of the balance transfer option which I politely responded no that I don't carry a balance Best part- used my 20k self-referral from my Biz Gold.

Unfortunately you can’t apply for another SW personal card..you can apply for a business ess card

How long ago did you open the one you have ? If within the last 3 months you can try asking Chase to match the 60k RR bonus

The offer terms state: "This product is available to you if you do not have a current Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Card and have not received a new Cardmember bonus within the last 24 months. This does not apply to Business Card and Employee Credit Card products."

So did you get the 40k within the last 24 months? I assume so, in which case you'd not be eligible for the 60k offer on top. If you got the 40k bonus recently you may be able to ask them for a match to the new offer, so at least you'd get the extra points but I believe you'd have to complete the extra spend also.

If you got the bonus more than 24 months ago you could cancel your card and reapply for the new offer.
