Well I was just on the phone with Chase and redirected to 5 different people. I called because I was trying to confirm one of our hotel reservations for Japan and I'm not seeing it on our account. Thank god I saved the email! They kept redirecting me to someone new who was supposed to help me and finally the last person said she could see the reservation and confirmed it. She also told me the hotel won't see our reservation until a couple days out. That doesn't seem legit and I'm worried our reservation might not even exist with the actual hotel. Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
I don't understand what she means by "the hotel won't see it." The reservation either exists or it doesn't.

Ours doesn't even show up on their travel site! That's why I'm so worried, but they did eventually transfer me to someone who said they could see the reservation. It makes me worried that she said the hotel won't see my reservation until a few days out. That doesn't make any sense to me. If they can't see my reservation, couldn't they sell the room to someone else? I tried emailing the hotel, but if they can't see my reservation I don't see that being any help. I confirmed one of our other hotels and it was booked more recently than that one.

I dealt with the same situation a few years ago (2015) when we used URs to book at Tivoli in Copenhagen. I couldn't find my booking online and the hotel did not see any reservation for me. Chase said the same thing and I said that was unacceptable. There were a number of phone calls to Chase and emails to the hotel. I looked back through my emails and it seems that I wound up calling Chase, speaking to a supervisor and telling them that the hotel said they had not received a reservation from the travel agency. I finally got Chase to give me a reservation number and the hotel was able to confirm it.

OMG! My oldest DD (who is definitely beyond 5) is planning to ride the "hello kitty' plane when she goes to a wedding next year in Cambodia. I can't remember if she said she has to fly it to or from Japan or any of the details, but its in the plan somewhere. There aren't too many direct flights from here to Cambodia so she will have to probably stop anyway, maybe in Singapore. We always used to drop into the shop at Epcot to get hello kitty and other things. I have Pokémon albums from when the kids were young. My grands can have them when they get beyond the destroy on first sight phase. They are getting better, but leave em with a pop up book and they think they have to pick the popup off the page.

We were on a Hello Kitty plane some 10 years ago. Not planned, just found out when we saw the plane. I don't know how many times I said "so cute!" in that short flight. I remember the meal was especially cute. I still have the Hello Kitty barf bag, lol.

I love the Motherlode Jr for our trip last week. I felt so organized and could still fit it under the seat. It really isn't much bigger than my old backpack but it's more square so easier to pack and organize plus the way it opens vs a normal backpack. Did 5 days of stuff with room to spare.

I’ve looked at the motherlode jr a few times. Just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I’ll probably get 2 before our Oct trip.

My FIL already contacted someone. And case has been filed. The lawyers told my FIL they’d let him know if they needed anything else after he sent all the medical records. Said these cases can be wrapped up quickly or take years. It really is a horrible situation.

I missed where you said you'd already contacted an attorney - I am glad to hear it and for your family's sake I hope things move fast and don't drag on.

I bought DS jeans at American Eagle. I have to order his size online anyway. I also bought the backpack on Ebags. And if anyone can recommend some super comfortable great sandals for high arches I might spend more money. I have been looking for comfortable, non old lady ugly sandals forever. I am too the point where I almost don't care if they are old lady ugly. I loved my Teva flipflops forever, but the last 5 or so pairs I have bought are not the same as they used to be. I keep buying them hoping it was just that one pair that are off but they keep disappointing me.

I stumbled across a pair of Vionic sandals and they are super comfortable. They say they have "built-in orthotics". If you find anywhere on the ebates promo that sells this brand please lmk -- I'd order another pair in a heartbeat! Can't guarantee they don't look like "old lady" sandals -- I don't think they do, but my 17 yo dd may have a different opinion!

I love their shoes and I think some pairs look like anyone else's from the front. Sure from the side you see a bit of the height and the arch but my feet are happy at the end of the day so I don't care. I've worn them all over WDW, DC and Paris. I also like their flip flops for the arch but I don't walk miles in flip flops. I have seen them on zulily sometimes, QVC and Amazon. Nordstrom sells them but not many options and I don't think they go on sale much even in the half yearly or anniversary sale. I think DSW has a small selection but might have more online than in store. The one thing I will say is I ordered a pair of flats from Amazon and returned them because the arch wasn't as high as the sandals or flip flops so it wasn't high enough for me (I have HIGH arches) and the arch was removable so it seemed pointless.

I'm so sorry about all of this. I hope she recovers from this, at least somewhat.

We have a hotel booked on Chase points for next week. I know that the reservation is not showing up on DH's Marriott account, but we did call about a month ago to confirm the reservation. Now I'm getting worried, too.

After the Wyndham Bonnet Creek mess with Chase Travel ...I called the Marriott directly in March to confirm the reservation, also added my Marriott number and they gave me their Marriott reservation number...after that I could see it on my account

@Lain, your MR post makes me feel like a peasant. My account is down to 5K because of the 2 tickets to Europe this Fall, and DH's is around 450K but will go closer to zero if we go for the planned 3 tickets to CPH for summer 2020. I guess I can't complain since we were around zero when I started posting here (due to another 3 J-class tickets to Europe). I want to hoard them all watch them grow, but I also think that with all the devaluations going on it might be good to earn and burn.

Applied for Barclays Biz and got we need more info and we will call you message...

And that's my fear. I don't want to talk about my "business." Can you let me know what the call was like?

And sadly, my kiddo's obsession of the moment seems to be moving on from Disney to Hello Kitty (and her Sanrio friends) and Pokemon. :confused3

Sounds like it's time for that trip to Japan that you've been thinking about. :goodvibes My DD liked Hello Kitty stuff, but never to the extent that others seem to. I bought her a bunch of little HK things when she was little because I remember loving them when I was a kid.

Whoa... I just got a call from 1-800-935-9935. I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail. Googled the number and it's Chase's fraud department for checking and savings customers, except the voicemail they left was in Mandarin. These scammers were able to spoof Chase's number. (I've also received calls from a spoofed Social Security Administration number before.) Be careful folks.

Yikes. I think I get at least 10 calls a week from spam numbers. I don't answer anymore, but if I do it's always in Mandarin. They are spamming our area code big time. Scary that they used Chase's fraud number.

Chase bank bonus DP. Opened checking account 4/24, pushed $500 from T-Mobile Money account 4/26, received $300 5/7. Account does need to be open 6 months. Any amount of DD will trigger bonus, but $500 DD a month will keep the account fee free.
So, could I just cycle 500 back to Tmobile Money and then to Chase once a month to fulfill the 6 months? Thanks for the update on this one.
