@Andysol , I didn't get a chance to post the other day, but thanks for the great info on the CSR at one year! I was going to keep mine because I love the card, but I also have a CSP so I'm definitely going to use the CSR credit, downgrade, and then PC my CSP to CSR when needed.

I second that - @Andysol, your post was very helpful. P2 has become something of an airport lounge addict, so I think we are stuck with AFs (I make sure that we are more than covering the AF with credits/offers by allocating any savings to my cc fee budget category), but strategically upgrading/downgrading would probably be quite beneficial for us.

Well Dh got the dreaded email....no job offer in Orlando. I feel so bad because he’s been waiting so long only for them to say no. He did get a call from a manager at the same Orlando location today about a different position. We aren’t sure how that’s gonna go

It stink when they wait so long to even let you know. Maybe something interesting will come from the other position

So sorry! This happened to DH a few years ago. He was very excited about a possible new job, went to interview, I believe there was only 2 that made it to the interview. I was looking for houses, kids had said OK to moving, I would not have done it otherwise, but then he ended up not getting it. He was pretty disappointed, but it ended up being a blessing. He got a better promotion at his old work soon after. He still interfaces with the other people frequently and every time he says I am so glad they did not hire me. Hopefully something better will come around for him!

The Platinum card is automatically expedited, but I'm not sure if it delivers on the weekend (probably does).

Is Zack targeted for the 100k offer via CardMatch? If not, do either of you have a MR-earning card? If so, generate a support link, open it in incognito, and see if you can pull up the 75k MR incognito offer and get support points.

No for both of those so far. My last ditch attempt is I might be able to pull up a Plat offer incognito on a work computer I haven't used for that yet. Every time I've debated a Plat and tried it has worked... I think I have burned 2 or 3 of 5 computers this way. When I go back later and do the same thing it usually won't come up again.

Before you try incognito on your own, I'd encourage you to load the DISchurners Amex support page in incognito (you may need to log in again), then click some of the support links for the Platinum there (still in incognito). I've been able to pull up the 75k MR offer, and you'll be supporting a fellow DISchurner.

I want to add, good luck! The Escape Lounges are supposed to have really good food and drinks, so Zack will easily eat and drink the value of that AF.

Yep. I paid $40 to a reddiiter who was offering all 3 varieties of the business mailer codes. The seller was quick to reply and really easy to work with.

The entire conversation was via Reddit PM. He started by asking if it was my first time using a mailer code (it wasn't). Then he politely suggested that the 65K/4K offer was probably better than the 75K/5K I had requested as it should be easy to match the additional 10K. I've got quarterly tax payments looming, and my recent CIP application was denied, so I stuck with the 75K/5K offer. (I was also influenced by recent comments here about the hassle of getting Citi to match.)

I sent payment to him (as a "friend") via Paypal. He then checked to make sure his code was still working before sending me the code, name associated, and link to apply. My wife was instantly approved. Somewhere in our conversation I had mentioned that I will need another code in early May. He ended our conversation by offering me a future code for $20. It was a really easy transaction with a helpful seller. I would not hesitate to recommend him. Maybe I can get a referral bonus?

im assuming normally u are able to get through TSA with just first and last?
My mom had an issue with a - in her middle name and TSA gave her a huge hassle with it. The best practice we have learned is that whatever ID/passport you will use, make sure the name of the ticket/booking is the same exact.
As for changing the name, most airlines require u to cancel your ticket and rebook. Had a friend in one of the airlines say that ppl always call in and get all mad about that haha.

Southwest changed the names for us on our Aruba tickets last fall. They added our full middle names to match our passports. Actually, DH's driver's license has his full middle name also, but we never booked domestic tickets that way before. When the price dropped after that I was unable to modify to the lower price because of the name change. They said they would send me a LUV voucher for the difference but never did. Now all our SW tickets have our full middle names since its in our RR accounts. My DL only has middle initial.
