The over 50% utilization on the CIC could explain it...I usually pay off my balance before the statement closes...but my score goes down..a point or so if the reported balance does go up as little as $100

I bet it is the 50% utilization. I learned my lesson with this as well. CS tanked cause I was using like 70% of the wimpy CL Chase gave. My score dropped 67 points. Now, if I charge a bunch up, I pay it off quickly so it doesn't have time to hit my score too much.

I had thought about making a payment on my CIP for these exact reasons because I know that 1st statement is going to be up there :rolleyes1

But the CIC shouldn't be reporting since it's a biz card, right?

And then I thought this too...:confused3

I mean if it does drop I know it will recover. And esp that I'm not sure when I will be opening another card i may just let it ride and recover on its own.

2 Questions:

1. Why do I get an error when trying to transfer P2's biz points to her CSR? I try to add her as a household member by putting her name and card number in and get an "unexpected error".

I've had that happen once or twice with my own business points transfers to my own CSR. I call it in, they do it manually and then it works again the next time I do it online. Well, until it doesn't but I think it has only happened twice in the last few years.

My Capital One Spark definitely shows up on my personal. I took a hit in January with my estimate taxes. It did recover the next month.

I'm wanting to say my JB biz (Barclay) shows up on my personal as well. Can see it when I go into my Chase info as well as on credit karma.

My dad ended up with 5k on his new UA Biz Card after dropping his other lines by 30k and not changing his income. Chase is tightening up.

This was me after lowering my limits on my CIC and CIU by about 2/3 on each.

Decisions, decisions...why did I have to look at the Hyatt Regency in Clearwater Beach...right now I have the Sheraton booked on Marriott points and since I am platinum will get lounge access but the Hyatt Regency is in a more central location and 20k points per night so I could transfer URs. I thought about a "split" stay but DS doesn't really want to switching hotels constantly and we still have a stop in SeaWorld and Universal. @Judique or others- any thoughts?

So as I sit here at work this morning, with nothing better to do than update my very neglected TRs... I'm wondering how crazy it would be to take DH to the Iowa State Fair. I grew up going every year of my life to the NE State Fair until they moved it out of Lincoln (still bitter), Also did the first year in Grand Island after moving, so nineteen straight years of fair. DH has never been to one. I feel he needs the experience. Ok lets be honest, I want to eat deep fried oreos on a stick :rotfl:

Squeee! P2's CIP #2 with EIN was approved!!! It was stuck on 30 days all day. I *only* checked 16 times, lol. Thought for sure we'd have to fax in the EIN letter (was already debating asking him to call or just wait for the letter).

His last Chase card was almost 3 months ago and I lowered CLs.

Congrats on the quick approval party:.....that’s great...I had to fax in the EIN letter for DH in January....trying to decide which way to apply for my second CIP EIN or Another with SS only...:scratchin ..

Woo...got the bonus on my no fee Hilton. 100,000 honors points. Was worried even though I did not get the pop up because I had to fight to get my 10,000 MR for the pay over time offer.

DH and I now have 235,000 hh for $2,000 spend and no annual fee. This will go towards our 2 night stay at Hotel Del Coronado plus a 45,000 Hampton inn near sfo.

In all seriousness, don’t some people make it a point to visit all the state fairs like how others have to visit all the national parks? It’s an American pastime!
Ha, maybe I should make that my goal and start a blog!

My family had zero to do with any ag but my mom, grandma, sister, and I would go from open to close every year and see EVERYTHING. I thought I'd heard before Iowa's was one of the best anyways... and even when they moved NE's out of Lincoln, people in Omaha would go to IA because it was the same distance for them now and IA was better than NE (especially the new location).

I was poking around, there's a Hyatt for 8k points a night, multiple Marriotts at 17.5k points... now of course there are almost no direct flights from Denver to Des Moines...

Are there any lounge options in Columbus, OH or Nashville with the AmEx Platinum? I see there are no PP options. They are the cheapest options to get to Orlando from BWI for Spring Break.

:offtopic: ....But since there are DVC members here....they are running a contest to win a 4 night stay at The Rivera resort in a 1 bedroom villa...includes 3 day park passes and airfare....contest ends 4/7

Also my September SW fares went down :yay:

Is this contest inside our member portal?

My last one was 5/28/18 and it is still open but I will probably PC it to a CIU. I'm hoping I get a chance to refer P2 for CIP #2 before there are any changes to this!
That’s great mine is 9/18 think I am going to try it end of month when I’m back to 4/24. Do you need to CIP open a year to PC it?

I received an email from Frontier today regarding a flight status change.

They totally dropped Tuesday and Wednesday flights out of our local airport for summer. (We're booked roundtrip for Tuesday-Tuesday.) I called the phone number provided, where I was met with a message that they are experiencing long hold times--call back if you're not flying in the next 24 hours.

Ugh---no great possibilities for me with this one. The flights were a fantastic deal. I have our room booked with a military rate, all dining booked, and the closest airport is St. Louis or Chicago, but I'd have to drive 3 hours to either of them, and I'll have to pay for parking. :( Boo!

I'm lucky that it's not until June, but seriously so disappointed that this is going to be a pain for less convenience.
