I have told Haley this already but “plain” eaters can still find plenty to eat. You just can’t do any special orders at restaurants, etc. You have to find something you like, as it is, with no alterations. You can find ramen, curry (not spicy Indian curry but a very mild curry with fried pork/chicken & plain white rice), dumplings, shrimp or vegetable tempura, teriyaki chicken & beef, udon with dipping sauce that you can use or not use as you prefer, etc. And, unless you’re going to the most rural area imaginable, just about any Western food you like will be available, up to & including McDonald’s. Yeah, Japanese food is great, but if you don’t like it, then you don’t like it. Why should you suffer? Eat your fries with no judgment from me!

So funny. I brought my mom along on our last trip and she kept asking how we were getting on rides and told her we had reservations, haha. It was just easier than trying to explain.

I took a trip in Feb one year and my DS refused to leave his winter coat in the car at the airport. It was so cold in Orlando that they were covering the shrubs at Pop from the frost. We were all buying sweatshirts and still freezing while my DS happily walked around in his winter coat!

I missed a lot of the tax chatter. Just want to say that I know you will all be incredibly shocked by this (for real shocked, not like @SouthFayetteFan shocked), I *love* doing my taxes. Yep, you would never have guessed that about me I started doing my own taxes as a teen cause I worked so much that I actually had to do my taxes. I have been doing them ever since. If anything ever happens to me, my dh is sunk. He has NO clue anything about how to do the taxes...For years, I did on paper and online...Now I just use turbotax but I said after last year, I would be changing. I'm tired of paying their ever increasing fees.

I’ve been away from the boards because we’re taking the long weekend to do some much needed new year cleaning and purging. Not going full-on KonMari, but definitely decluttering and finding a bunch of new (old) items to list on eBay.

I was doing some cleaning/purging too. I found a pair of pants that I intended to return to NOrdstrom...5 years ago!!! Still in the box, with the receipt!!!! I wonder if they’d take them back. I also found items in the pantry that I’m embarassed to admit the expiration date of.

We didn’t watch that show but we watched minimalism. We went through just our upstairs and filled my car with things to take to goodwill. It was quite sad but so awesome to get rid of stuff. Next is our basement and then our garage when it’s not below zero outside

Been doing the same this weekend! Mine is mostly homeschool curriculum but since my youngest is 2nd grade, I can sell all the PreK-2nd I'm not using plus all the older stuff I hated the first time around My 'business' is in full swing!

Just the ad for that got me to take an old suitcase full of stuff to my donate place!

Konmari is taking over the world! I read that some donation centers are getting so overwhelmed by the konmari effect that they’re begging people to stop donating things right now.

We already bought our tickets so we will be there but I’m definitely packing layers. Even 39 is cold to me being from the Midwest. We just might not eat much ice cream that night

It was that cold last Christmas and I was freezing. Had 4 layers on and still freezing, but we are not from the Midwest. I believe 39 at Disney is way colder than 39 here. Regardless of the weather, we always have a great time!

I am also obsessed with soft pretzels! I've used them as light meals multiple times in the parks. I wish DAH would offer them!! Tortuga Tavern was also my favorite free MVMCP snack spot... FREE SNOWMAN PRETZELS!
