My favorite is when somebody has to complete trash your plan: “UGH I could never stay at All Stars with those tiny rooms and terrible pools! We’re a deluxe only family.” Seriously - did you need to say it THAT way?? Couldn’t you just say that your preference is to stay at a deluxe, or better yet, say NOTHING at all!
I know, right? It's not nice to disparage something someone is looking forward to, even if it's not what you would book. I'll add the, "Disney, again?" comments we received when DD was little. And the "why do you waste all those miles flying in first when you could go to Europe twice in coach?" Friends want friends to be happy, hope they can achieve their goals, and wish for whatever their friends want. I've worked hard IRL to spend my time with people who "bring me up" instead of those who like to brag and tell everyone that their way is the only way. At least with the boards I can close the thread and ignore it.
