Ugh. My husband applied 3 months apart and approved after moving some CL around. They are tough!!! The most I’ve heard anyone having is 3 cards with themApparently Barclays thinks that applying for the same card in December and then in March is reason enough alone to turn me down, because I got my letter today and it says "too many recent applications", but also says that they didn't check my credit. What the heck, Barclays?? Are there rules about this, or is do they just hate me now?

Yeah there’s open Swim (public, it’s at the public pool) I Think the day campers change in the bathroom inside the parks building before going to the pool. The pool building/locker room is next door but separate. So I don’t think that’s the issue.Do the day camps include groups from other organizations? Ours did and DS refused to go into the locker room to change. He insisted on wearing his swim clothes to camp and after swim would go back to the learning centers/classrooms without changing. Later we learned the pool was open to 4 different groups not associated with the program we signed him up for.
I have 3 but dh could only get 1 from them!Ugh. My husband applied 3 months apart and approved after moving some CL around. They are tough!!! The most I’ve heard anyone having is 3 cards with them
im gonna get shunned by our benevolent leader for saying this but i planned a short trip to vegas on SW from SNA... last time i flew with them was maybe 25-30 years ago. lol.
Thought might be interesting to ya'll, flying private jet back with JetSuiteX. Cost me $29. Flight on SW cost me $150. quite a difference lol.
There needs to be an instagram photo shoot on the jet! Curious to hear how it is.
We’re going to the Kyoto railway museum while in Japan. That’s enough train museums for me
gonna be hard... my flights at 8:30pm...![]()
ITs been around sooo long and I’ve always wanted to see it. I just couldn’t justify the ticket prices i always saw which were around $250 person. My kids are still young and to pay that money for something they may fall asleep during didnt seem worth it. I got Orchestra or prime mezzanine seats for 11K chase points each including fees. Don’t get the pick our seats but it said best available!!
I already placed my order for pickup and the $45 worked. I just had to have $45 of items that were not on sale. Then I added bunch that were on sale and it kept the discount.I think we’re gonna head to sam’s Club tonight and try out this scan and go phenomenon. Hopefully it triggers the $45. Actually now that I think about it you have to spend $50 for the Amex deal and it has to be online.... how am I gonna make that work

Well I don’t feel so bad. Only about 1k into dd’s CIP, haven’t started on my Barclay AA biz and about to apply for dh both a citi biz and personal. That would only be 9k and I can take care of one of the citi cards with our April mortgage. So really only 7k. Resisting another CIP for him for now.I will say...I currently have active MSRs on CitiBiz AA, 2x Barclay Biz, a CIC, I’m getting another CitiBiz AA in a couple weeks via mailer...
AND I’m tempted to go for the 2nd CIP for my wife LOL!!! I will resist that temptation. $11k in MSR at once is ok but $16k...NOT ok haha!

Train to Glacier and the Rockies sound amazing. I just need more vacation time so I can take these types of trips. All this talk about liking trains... I am the guy that opts for long distance overnight trains over flying (although there are other reasons for this). We are riding the Acela later this month to NYC for only the second time, that should be fun. One day, I'd love to ride the Empire Builder through North Dakota and Montana, especially through Glacier National Park. I've also heard the California Zephyr is the best scenic trip, as the train goes through the Rockies.
Added to the news thread...THANKS!DoC just posted about the new hyatt offer -
So good if you were going to use your points at a cat 7. Still not as good as it used to be since it now requires more spend for the first night and even more for the 2nd. All depends on why you are earning hyatt points.
- $50 statement credit after first purchase
- Free night certificate (good at any category 1-7 property) when you spend $3,000 in purchases within the first three months
- Free night certificate (good at any category 1-7 property) when you spend $6,000 in purchases within the first six months
I feel like if you actually go on the 52 sandwich challenge, this is news-thread worth!!! HAHA! Keep us postedGotta see if I can redeem and actually eat 52 sandwiches before the big devaluation! I guess I could freeze them for later.
