I don't even understand this LOL. You have to let it sit on Raise for 45 days?

Yep--45 days for approval to list on travel cards. That's why I used cardpool. I can't keep track of things for that long!
I was familiar with the 45 days and it’s really no big deal to me. However the problem is they say 45 days from activation BUT they really mean you need to list it with them for 45 days. I’m sure it’s some sort of fraud protection. They could just list that clearer on their website. I’ve been sitting on this card now for 45 days waiting to list it and I would’ve done it differently had that been clear (ie I would have listed it immediately lol)

Do you know if Card Cash has the same rules? I have a new AA card I want to unload.
You can choose to list it with a possible delayed payout (but higher percent return) or sell it outright and get paid sooner but make less in the card. I only did Raise once but you don’t make the money until your card sells I believe. But it sold quickly and I was paid quicker than I expected

im gonna get shunned by our benevolent leader for saying this but i planned a short trip to vegas on SW from SNA... last time i flew with them was maybe 25-30 years ago. lol.
Thought might be interesting to ya'll, flying private jet back with JetSuiteX. Cost me $29. Flight on SW cost me $150. quite a difference lol.

Depends on the card for example Best Buy is like 19% but other cards that are probably less desirable they take more.

LOL, well this didn't help me much. I'm still confused as to which way to go.

DH talked to the other insurance company from being rear ended and they told him we could get the estimate at our normal shop. Is it bad I was sort of wishing for it to be like when I got rear ended and the other person had Geico, and i had to go see a guy and he did the estimate and cut the check right on the spot? I mean, he was trying to talk me out of fixing my car, but then I got to do the normal pay that amount to my shop and the rest went straight from Geico to the shop... MSRs!

Haha. If you need/want the money quickly and don’t want to deal with the hassle sell it outright to Cardcash. For a slightly higher percent payout opt for an Amazon giftcard.
If your not in a rush or don’t care list it on Raise. You will eventually get paid might be a bit longer but will probably make a better profit
Or PM @Albort not sure what tricks he has uo his sleeve!!!

Apparently Barclays thinks that applying for the same card in December and then in March is reason enough alone to turn me down, because I got my letter today and it says "too many recent applications", but also says that they didn't check my credit. What the heck, Barclays?? Are there rules about this, or is do they just hate me now?

:D I had my third in 1995! I'm not quite as old as DH, who will be going on Medicare later this year. I opened 4 credit cards for him in 2018 after he retired. It is interesting to read posts from all these young whippersnappers.

Lol, I had my third in 1992, and I opened at least 5 cards all by myself in 2018 after I retired!

I love that the whippersnappers are here!

I saw it in August of 2001 in New York. I took my youngest daughter for her 9th birthday.

We had the cheap seats, 2nd row from the back with a pole to look around, for $33 a seat. The theater was small so the seats were fine and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd go again.

I have a lot of pictures from that trip, including from the ferries to SOL and Ellis Island, with the towers still standing. We actually stayed at the Holiday Inn on Wall Street, in a teeny little room.
ITs been around sooo long and I’ve always wanted to see it. I just couldn’t justify the ticket prices i always saw which were around $250 person. My kids are still young and to pay that money for something they may fall asleep during didnt seem worth it. I got Orchestra or prime mezzanine seats for 11K chase points each including fees. Don’t get the pick our seats but it said best available!!
