Here is what is happening. Sprint hit you with a 30 day late, probably in February or March of last year. This turned into a 60 day late, then a 90 then a 120 as it wasn't paid. After hitting you with a few 120s they took a charge off so they could take it off of their business ledger. This is what you are seeing now, and it is actually better than showing 120+ day late every month. Your score will go up some if you satisfy the collection, your credit report should show who has the collection, Sprint usually sells them pretty quick after a CO, you can contact whoever they sold it to and try to settle it for less.
