I got my PNC bonus this morning!!!!! Posting date was yesterday but it just appeared this morning. I checked last night and there was nothing. I just got an email for a deposit and there was my $300. Check your accounts if you are waiting!

Just finished running the Enchanted 10k and back at the room in Kidani waiting for coffee to brew. I'm wiped out. I trained by running in the cold and snow, which of course is not helpful when it's 73° with a dew point of 71°. Yuck. But after this and the 5k yesterday, I am done. DW is doing the Fairy Tale Challenge, so she gets the half marathon tomorrow.

Congratulations! I am always impressed everyone who can run these races. Especially now that I am like this with my bum knee.

Love our Casper mattress!! Been sleeping on one for three years and it’s great. We actually had to get a boxed mattress out of necessity. The only stairs in our house are a teeny tiny set of spiral stairs, so all of our furniture for our upstairs had to come in through the (thankfully oversized window). Mattress in a box, everything else from IKEA or Target.

Dh and I just finally paid for our Airbnb! Total was around $600 but we had $300 in discounted gcs and had a chase offer for 15% back. I think $300 on our Airbnb was a good deal! I think it’s for 5 nights. The trip is starting to feel so real!!!

I’ve been waiting to see how it went for you using your Air Bnb gift cards. So it went well for you? I got a $50 one with my 30% Chase offer at Staples in January, but then kinda got cold feet and haven’t bought any more, wondering if I wanted to spend on gift cards I wasn’t sure about how they would work out.

You know what's a lot of fun - when I see friends from here on other threads on the DIS. It's like...oh hey I know you! And then we all like each other's comments and have inside jokes and fun and people are just confused!

It is fun! When I see someone on another thread say something that disagrees with what someone on this thread has just posted (in that other different thread), I say to myself...I don’t know ‘bout that.

I do, but I'm going to do better. I have two Amex Offers for Casper that I'm going to stack for $250 back and 25,000 MR after spending $1,250+. I've got a mailer coupon for $100 off. I'm planning to buy a mattress, mattress protector, and some much needed new pillows, which with tax should bring it to about the magic number. And Ebates is paying out 4%. Although, the Casper store manager encouraged me to call into her store with whatever price I'm seeing online and she might be able to do better. Funny enough, she asked if I had a Chase or American Express card because they have offers on them right now. (ETA: Sadly, the Amex Offer only works online. )

The wave or the original?

I like firmer mattresses, my wife likes them softer. We’re both side sleepers. I felt the wave was a bit too firm. The original Casper is around that sweet spot that hopefully will work for both of us.

For me, T&N is just too mushy with absolutely no side support (I’ve slid off it a few times!), and I sink when sitting upright. My wife likes the T&N but hates me complaining about it.

We also tried a Saatva luxury firm. They describe it as hotel quality and about a 7 in firmness. No way! I felt like I was sleeping on the floor for the week we tried it. And I’m the one who likes firmer mattresses. Back it went!

Anyone here a frontier den member? I am trying to do Disney last minute March 4-7 and SW flights are high, even with my CP. Frontier is still cheap but I was wondering if the kids free thing would apply to my dates. I can't tell if it will show up if I am a den member or not. I just see that you have to be a den member to get the benefit.

So my Raise Adventure is finally done...My wife got her last $10 coupon, placed that order AND I got another $5 Raise Cash referral, Then I used my $30 Raise Cash (which came from my Wife's 6 orders). Here's the total haul:

$272.11 - Walmart
$50.00 - Papa Johns
$25.00 - iTunes (as a thank you to my wife for being awesome...I usually try to only by "useful" stuff from Raise, LOL!
$347.11 - TOTAL VALUE

Savings = $79.50; Out of Pocket = $267.61 (this doesn't include some random 1% EBates money I'll get too on many of these orders).

So all told I bought all those GCs at 23% savings. It was a nice little run and we're set on Walmart for awhile now too

The one thing I don't know is...how many times would they keep giving me $5 Raise Cash for her orders...I mean they did it 6 times for $30. I'm not sure it should work that way, shouldn't I just get $5 one time. I could keep going and abuse this with really small orders (Example: I earned $5 Raise Cash on a $4.91 order tonight...) but some part of me says I shouldn't over-abuse this...

Hmmn, I need to go back and read your original posts b/c I could do this for Walmart and use those to buy Disney at Sams club...and this is better than my 10% back at lowes/staples.

I have manufacturer discount cards for two of my Diabetes meds. One takes my $400/box insulin that my insurance won't cover down to $10 for six weeks. The other gives me my $300/month oral medication at no cost to me. Always worth looking into, without these two meds I'd be a real mess rather than being in the best health I've been in in almost 20 years.

I am so jealous of these med coupon stories. DS's Vyvanse is normally $290 and the coupon takes it to $260. So frustrating but he is doing so very well on it, I hate to switch him.

I was able to use an amex offer at the time too. It didn't credit and they had to research it, but they did eventually issue my credit. This was 3 years ago.

I hate when Amex has to "research" something or starts an "investigation." I always think nothing good can come from this. I'm glad it worked out for you!

a little but really it is due to all these CCs/bank bonuses and accounts I now have. Just did mandatory computer/network security training at work. Realized my passwords really, really suck and I need to do something. In the last year for our 2 player household, I added 3 new Chase accounts (2 business and 1 personal); 2 Citi; 2 Barclays; 2 AMEX; 1 PNC; 1 5/3rd; 2 new AA; 2 new Delta. Plus all the accounts from before - regular bank, some stores. It is getting overwhelming and as I said I know I am not using super strong like they suggest. Asking if anyone uses a password keeper and would recommend. I just looked up PC Mags top choices but any first hand knowledge would be welcome to making my decision. TIA.

Is the coupon for that just on their website? My best friend is on Vyvanse... when she can afford it A single teacher's income doesn't really mean you get to spend $300 a month on a prescription. She also does very well on it. I even called Costco to see if their pharmacy plan had it cheaper but they didn't.

Thank you. I just looked and my first statement doesn't close til 3/13, so I won't be able to use the points for a quick last minute trip. I got such a good deal thru DD for the May trip, so I will save the AA miles for another last minute trip sometime I guess. DD3 and I have gotta go often since I have that CP and AP this year! Feb has been so busy with hockey tournament after hockey tournament, but wraps up next weekend, so that will free me up to do Disney!!

It’s a really limited promo. So far everything I’ve priced, the kids free weren’t for that date. Of course.
