I definitely feel that struggle! I always try to do WDW for at least a week in the spring and this would be attached to it so I don't want to take too much away from that, but a cruise is a cruise! I can't forget that is an adventure in itself! We did a 3 night because it worked better with our schedule but I definitely felt like we had nowhere near enough time to see some of the stuff... A 4 night was just hard to work in by the time we knew (it was a wedding gift) and would have taken away from my F&W time...![]()
Yes, those dates may actually work better is I "sandwich" between two WDW resorts. I admit I am a little scared of motion sickness. I've never had it before, but I don't do well with some simulators at WDW and Universal so the thought is in the back of my mind. I will take/wear/do whatever I can to avoid it! I just don't want it to ruin the cruise or the WDW portions of the trip.I'm doing the 4 night as well just to try it out and see how we like it, and to see how DD does on a cruise. I liked the 4 night because it is Monday to Thursday night...so its easy to add on Sat and Sun and Friday and Sat to the beginning and end respectively, and still only take 1 week of vaca from work.
Hmmm so the 3 worked well as a test, and the 4 was a nice break. I will play and see what fits. The week I normally go will also have Easter around it so that is something to factor. I can either deal with it, or push the trip up or back. It would make WDW less crowded if it wasn't that week LOLI do think it's worth it because the 3 night is essentially just 2 days on the ship. My first cruise was a 3 night one just to check things out, but I preferred the 4 night one we took. Plus it makes it easier to get there in advance, etc. We actually used the 4 night cruise as a way to take a break in the middle of a busy WDW trip.
And yes, I worked my way up to that cruise, but sailing around the Caribbean doesn't really excite me. We sailed on the Wonder in Alaska and it was wonderful. Then tried the Magic to Norway, Iceland, and Scotland and that was by far the best trip ever! We saw so much, and it was so easy to plan. Going back on the Magic next summer.
Exactly! I hope you like it. The 3 night one was our test cruise, but the 4 night was better and gave us a nice break in between all those busy, crazy, running around all day park days at WDW. DD had one week off for spring break in college and we met her down in FL for a WDW-DCL-WDW week and it was great.
