Brief Dorian update. We are unsure if she's ever going to come. It feels like we've been prepared and waiting for weeks. I was just outside playing 'street hurricane Pickle Ball' (our courts are closed and have been for 2 days) with my neighbors and it's the most fun I've had in days. Hoping we can get back out in a little while (wind is constant and rain is coming in bands). Apparently there is a video of the game that it going viral in the national Pickle Ball community.

I feel awful for the residents of the Bahamas. Dorian has been relentless, just sitting there and beating the island with incessant wind and rain. Seems like it may be years before they recover.

I want the coaster set and was debating if I should make the effort to hit EP on 4 days during my Sept trip or grab that last day on my Nov trip- definitely not waiting until Nov now if they run out of things as simple as magnets!

I don’t think so. My ME tags just came in a normal envelope via us mail. The only packages with tracking I’ve received from Disney are MagicBands and DVC advertising after I did a phone tour. Seems way early for MB and ME tags.

Fun fact, pickleball was created near me and my hometown has indoor courts run by a company that sells pickleball stuff online.

I had no problem getting the cutting board the 1st week of nov last year and I never read of someone not getting one. I think these simba magnets, for whatever reason, where a limited supply at least compared to the others they do because the other festival or seasonal one's have never run out like this.

Unless it's the new magic bands. When I customized mine the day they released for my August trip I got them a few weeks later way earlier than normal.

I don’t think we’re even gonna try for the coasters. We aren’t too interested. I do think we’ll try for the remy magnet though

Yeah, I'm wondering if they got wayyyyyy less than usual since I think this is the first time they were only out for a few days vs a longer period for a festival. Lines were crazy for them at AK on Saturday, several hundred people until we were hopping to Epcot and it was 50ish so we jumped in line. Without Dorian they would have been gone even faster.

It's very silly but I am super bummed about the coaster set

I don’t think it is a smart choice for him as an out of state student. Don’t get me started on the crazy college admissions process. But I have wanted to check out the area, so I am obliging him.

Well it’s a nice place to visit, anyway.
I learned so much about the college applications process last year-mostly that it is freaking crazy and nothing like when I did it...if I knew then what I know now DD (I) would have saved so much on applications.
