I've been having problems with Amex Offers loading on Safari. Works fine on Chrome.

I’ve been opposite. Working on Safari and not Chrome.

PSA: For all those who enrolled in Shop With Points on Amazon using Amex Membership Rewards, you may want to double check your cart that you aren't paying with MR when you don't intend to, or just unenroll.

The Shop With Points redemption value of MR is only 0.7 cpp, making this a terrible value. Although I had my settings set to not apply points by default, I noticed my cart automatically applying points anyway. Given that there's a rush on some of these Prime Day deals, you don't want to rush through checkout without noticing. If you've already used up the "use 1 MR" deals, you can go into Your Account>Shopping programs and rentals> Shop with Points, and unenroll. If you accidentally used MRs towards your payment, you may be able to change your payment method under Your Orders>Order details>Payment Method>Change.

Amex cards didn't have much going for offers. Gold had 1000MR after $40 at Staples and 5% back at superstores. BCP also had $10 back with $40 at Staples. Both Staples offers good for Disney GCs and DD5 Kindergarten supplies .

This is sooooo my DH. He’s very much an out of sight out of mind person, so he rarely understands why I’d do things like accumulate Disney GCs or bank AA miles. While on our WDW honeymoon, he was talking about where he wanted to stay when we came back again and planning to take the (now real) trip to bring our parents. A month after we got home, he was like “we’re not going back there for years, there’s no reason to.” We’ve gone three times since then It makes me sound like such a mean/bossy wife, but I literally just plan things and tell him we’re going and then he gets on board and ends up loving it. Like Japan he’s just kind of been going along with me talking about it, but now that I’ve actually booked a flight there he’s all of a sudden like “did you know they have owl cafes there? We should go to the Pokémon museum. I want to stay at this Robot dinosaur hotel.” He‘s only ever mentioned a couple trips he wants to go on, one of which is Hawaii at New Years, so I’m going to make it happen.

We love owls and made reservations for one of the owl cafes while we are there later this year. Must look into this robot dinosaur hotel. That sounds absurd and right up my alley! Plane Princess used to complain about some of my more outlandish ideas. Once I pointed out that he says what a great idea it was during the trip each time, he agreed to not say anything and just go with it or he could plan things himself. That has worked out nicely LOL

If he ever agrees, tell us on DISchurners, because the number of rude & entitled PMs you will receive if other people on this board find out about it will blow your mind.

We have good friends that are members at
WDW and are “in the closet” on social media and in real life with many of their other friends and family about it for that very reason.

Wow. Cool story. I listened to the first book and just couldn't get into it, but now I'm wondering if I should give it another chance. Is book #2 better? I love Scotland and visited Clava Cairns and the Culloden Battlefield last summer, so I really did want to love these books. Maybe I need to give it another try. I was put off by the brutality and violence of the first

I’m not much into violence in my fiction but it doesn’t annoy me unless it is gratuitous. I found that the violence in the book served more to accurately portray the norms and dangers of the time. I’d suggest listening to it over reading it. Davina Porter, the narrator, is one of the best I’ve come across.

Mine turns on our lights, runs the vacuum, alarm, timers when cooking, we used to play jeopardy everyday with it too. we have four smart devices in 650 square feet lol.

Yeah... we refuse to have smart speakers in our home. We don't trust Amazon or Google listening in on our private conversations.

Yeah, if they're on the same card, you can add both and they'll stack on a single $40 purchase.

So many deals. I missed the Happy Eats Gift Card Deal. Debating if I should get American Eagle. I haven't shopped there in so long but I love how I can order "long" pants and they are actually long enough for me. hmmm. I also got SO and I each the Target red card for $40 off $40.
