For anyone who uses Atom tickets, check out the post on DoC. I won two free tickets and it's pretty easy. Will use them to see the new LEGO movie with DD.

Won on the 3rd try. Will also use them to see the new Lego movie with the kids.

Wasn't going to try at first, thinking oh I probably won't win. But seems most eventually "win", so more like a "get", lol.

Sitting here paying bills and moving money around this morning. Moved $2000 from our Ally account to pay DH's CSP where I funded PNC. He gets the payment email and texts me "omg do we have a $2000 bill for our credit card?!" Lol, first of all we have like 12 credit cards. Secondly, no we don't really "owe" anyone $2000, I'm just moving money around from one account to another through your credit card.

Now he's texting me about how he got an email for the Starbucks credit card with no AF and how he really wants it. I texted him back that no matter how much I love Starbucks as well, 4500 stars was an unhealthy amount of Starbucks and no one needed that much. Then I texted him "do you want free vacations or free Starbucks?" His response- "Both."

Uh, yes. The bonus posted so now I am moving all but $1k back to Ally through the Daisy Chain, because right now Ally is still a slightly higher interest rate. He was concerned because it's a $14k transfer

Ah, remember a few days back when I found the mysterious gift card with $525 on it? I figured out what it was from.

Right at the end of December BIL asked if he could send us a Costco GC instead of cash towards the cruise, since he doesn't have a membership (he's a teacher at a private high school so I think it was a Christmas gift from a student - he always gets crazy amounts; I was thinking of him this year because he usually gets several hundred dollars in Target GCs and I think he used them to buy GCs as Christmas gifts...). We were good with that. Since it was just at the end of the month, I used my Discover card to get 3 $150 packs and 1 $75 pack of Disney GCs at Sam's... for basically $500 got $525 in GCs towards the cruise, plus 5% back. I would have maxed out our remaining Discover amounts like that had I had more cash in hand from BILs, but... I didn't. So I just did the $500 since we were going to get a GC.

So that's what the $525 was from - oops! And now I added $200 of my own stash to it. Not the end of the world overall. But... we still have no Costco GC...

DH is a total coffee snob and only drinks Starbucks coffee. Fortunately, he mostly just buys the bags at the store and brews at home. So yet another reason why all the stars wouldn't even be a good value for him lol.

I actually got the offer for that card about two months ago!! I do love Starbucks and I enjoyed my grande Peppermint Mocha yesterday afternoon, but I'm still not getting a Starbucks credit card lol. Or even if I did, I wouldn't embarrass myself by telling y'all and getting shunned

DH has no idea what's going on with our money lol. It's all right there for him, we have YNAB, he knows the logins to all our accounts. He just ignores it all and happily charges away on his CIC since all he buys is gas and food lol.

He did ask me to book him at a Marriott for one horse show and a Hampton Inn for another though since he does know we're accumulating Marriott and Hilton points.

Reddit comments say Dell has a policy to price match competition if the sku matches. That might make this a little more worthwhile as Dell prices can be very inflated.

TopCashBack has historically offered higher cash back at Dell in mid-February, anywhere from 10-20%, so now I'm wondering if I should wait. (The camera lens I'm watching doesn't really go on sale, though I can find it cheaper with an .edu discount.)

I don't know how you all do it with adding cards! I just applied for BoA Alaska Air card and was declined after submitting the application online. Interesting, I hardly have any cards and my credit score is somewhere 790-815 depending on which site I use. Do they do reconsiderations once I get the declination letter in the mail, and can call?
