It's when I'm on the main page though and want to go to a certain page number that it's a problem. Like today I kept getting those annoying you've won pages, so it's go back to the main page and then either flip so I can pick the page # or go to the newest and then all the way to the bottom of the page so I can hit previous and continue where I left off. The navigation isn't as friendly.



Looking for some recommendations. I used to buy Merona solid color tee's at Target because they held up well and had the crew neck, I don't like v'neck or scoop both because of look and because I wear these under cardigans and sometimes alone. I'm open to women's, misses or juniors and thickness doesn't matter because I always wear tanks under them anyway. Any suggestions for reasonably priced ones? I'd prefer under 15.

I got a couple liz claiborn at JCP last year and they are fine but they aren't as long as I'd like or as long as any of my other solid color tee's or tanks, guessing because of their target age group. They are fine but feel like they are short and the tank I wear underneath is longer so it's problematic.

Any reviews of the priority pass lounge at Seattle? @afan or @Albort have you been? We'll have an outbound flight at 10AM on Saturday 7/20 on SW. Wondering if we should check out the lounge. Anyone know if they have good breakfast items? Also is it close to SW gates? No experience with Seattle so don't know how big the terminal is or where anything is located. Thanks.

no experience with PP lounge, I did get access to Centurion lounge. It has some nice food options and drink options... not as big though.
I have attempted twice with Alaska Lounge, denied both times. But they have since been removed.
I believe u still have access to other lounges, i know one is down in gate A which is far from other gates, but google shows SW uses Gate B which isnt too bad of a walk.

i totally stayed there last Feb. It was a great mini get away when FL was having record highs in Feb (it was high 80's low 90's).

Only ever used it before redeyes so there wasn't much but packaged snacks and drinks. It's a bit of a trek because it's by a11 but it's nice enough. Bit too much of a trek if you fly alaska like I do but I'd do it for the free drinks and needing something to do. But I don't miss having access either because of the trek.

I don't want to iron t-shirts. I have one brand that likes to "bacon" already and they are some of what I need to replace.

@Lain and @SouthFayetteFan I just logged into Chase and see that I have 3 business cards, so I'm hoping my application for my 3rd CIP was approved. It says 0 balance, August 19th due date with a $6,000.00 CL. However I haven't received anything in the mail or by e-mail saying I was approved. Is this normal?

Also @Lain I just ordered my second pair of Rothy's. The 'bright white' sneaker. I did express shipping again -- they'll be here on Monday! Can't wait!

What exactly have the issues been with Biz cards with Barclays lately? Have the problems only been for those who are applying for their first biz card?

I've been denied that card 3 or 4 times now. I have a well established legit business (since 2006). I have a regular AAvaitor card and I even transferred a balance to it. They claimed too many recent cards. I have no idea when I fall "under" what they want, but I've basically said f-it and I'm applying for other cards.

Just called, entered the last 4 digits of the card and my zip code. Seems like there is a legit card, but I didn't zero out to speak to a rep (don't want to draw any attention to my account).

Any idea when this card will arrive? We leave the country for 6 weeks on Friday and I'd love to have before we leave!

Going to the DCA Halloween Party! When I took DS to SWGE, the deal was that (i.e. trip with mommy) or a birthday party. So DD gets the same deal. At the time, she chose birthday party, but after her brother went on the trip, she changed her mind. We've never been, so I'm excited to go, even though lots is unknown being at DCA instead of DL.

Booked the Best Western Plus Park Place with URs. The outbound flight is a good price, so wanted to get that booked. Bought $150 Southwest GC with DH's new Aspire. Here goes nothing....

This DP actually concerns me a lot. Early Bird reimbursed but GC (with SPD/Air Freight coding) not, both purchased on the same day. But since I want to buy the flight anyways...I guess it's worth the risk?

Still need to go to Lowe's to buy GCs with the Amex offers 10% off (expiring tomorrow!). Will get the Halloween party tickets with a Disney GC. Also need Amazon GC to use for the Amazon MR 20% off offer (stack, stack!). Will then buy some Uber GCs on Amazon for the trip.

ETA: Forgot to mention, will be flying out of OAK, so get to use the Escape Lounge again!

We always give our DD a choice for her birthday and she always chooses Disneyland over a party too. She has a summer birthday, so planning a party with all her friends and classmates out of school and many on vacation with their families can be tough. And birthday parties can get expensive, which is something we think about when we have to invite everybody out of politeness (even the kids who are mean to her). Disneyland is expensive too, but at least we’re spending our money all for us and not some bratty kids.

if u were legit approved, call the biz line and have it expedited. should show up on tues or wed.
if not, it should show up in a week.

DW’s last CIP was approved on a Sunday night, arrived on a Tuesday 9 days later. I’d say 7-10 days after approval is pretty typical.

If you want it before Friday, you’ll have to ask for it to be expedited.

Have not looked into that at all. Do I get 1 cpp and then the 35% back? Might be a good option for the return flight if the GC doesn't credit.

A friend of mine had 50k stolen from her Discover savings account two weeks ago!!

It's scary because I don't actively check that account. I was about to put $25k more into. Seem Nicole and Ralph used my balance to pay their Discover bills. I've had my CC stolen a few times, my hotel points stolen, etc...but money scares me!

I tried to apply for the Hilton Biz today and got the pop-up again. I thought I'd be in the clear since I'm targeted to upgrade my Biz Green to the Biz Plat, but I guess not. Since DH and I are both now getting the Amex pop-ups, we (I) decided to apply him for the Hyatt card instead. Auto-approved and used a Dischurners link!

call the regular CSR line(Not Recon) and see if they can read your file. They usually can see why u are getting denied but cannot write anything to the file.

Maybe run your credit reports too. Make sure no one has opened new accounts you don’t know about. I do have most of my accounts set up for text alerts for purchases over $200 and charges with no card present. Some of the card issuers are better at this than others.

Ooooh, thanks for that tip too. So far I think it's from the "extortion" emails I've gotten. Those emails that said we know your password is "XXX". Which is one of my go to passwords, but not one I was using on that account. My guess is in one of the data leaks, my Goto username and passwords were listed and people just try every single website until they hit the jackpot. So I'm in the process of changing everything up. Discover gave me new account numbers and logins. Hilton gave me a new account number too. My ex is a cop and told me he has a different login name at every website and a different password at each too. Time to start doing that.
