I enjoyed it, but it definitely was not my favorite of the franchise. The original will always reign supreme, then for me it is three. Everyone talked about the last 15 minutes being so emotional and I was just like... ok. Three however got me going multiple times! That is the beauty of Pixar films. Everyone enjoys them/reacts differently. I will say I am not as anti-forky anymore. I had to see how he was integrated.

I don't want to mention anything specific and ruin it for anyone, but I will say that I think this one relied very heavily on comedic relief unlike the previous movies in the series.
It wasn’t my favorite either. I think mine’s a tie between 1 and 2, with 2 slightly coming out ahead. I love bullseye and Jessie. I’m the opposite about 3. I didn’t cry at all and actually that’s probably my least favorite toy story movie. I just didn’t like it very much since it’s mostly in the daycare.

I do agree that the new one relied on comedic moments. That’s why I didn’t like bunny and ducky because I thought everything they said was so “un-Disney”. They would fit better in the minions world of movies lol.

This was our first time at an amc theater and omg the ads! Our movie started late because of them showing so many ads! I’m not talking about previews I’m talking about ads for commercial things. We used to go to Marcus theaters and they have way less ads.

One time as a teen at home in the UK, I woke up and felt like something was crawling on my arm - I looked down and sure enough there it was.........I never jumped out of bed so fast. In the process I lost the spider and couldn't find it again. Spiders were quite common in our home, but this was the one and only time I woke to find one on me.

I won't post a picture on here....but for for those curious - google UK Giant House Spider. :scared:😨
NO THANKS. & I hear it's even worse in Australia. They had to change the Peppa Pig episode that tells little kids "spiders won't hurt you" for Australian TV because their spiders can most definitely hurt you :rotfl:

That is really interesting and funny about the Xanax! I’m not very tolerant of most meds, and actually had a very bad reaction to Valium, but Xanax did exactly what it was supposed to do and didn’t make me groggy. I see so many people abuse it which I don’t get since it’s never given me a high, but that’s probably because I was using it appropriately. On the other hand, both my husband and mom threw their backs out on separate occasions over the last two months and took Flexeril and they both hated it. I’m not sure what people enjoy about being groggy and out of it, but I guess it’s good for me that I don’t get it!

As to the CBD oil, my mom uses it for her dachshund. I think it helps him some. I’ve heard some people use it for various aches and pains with mixed results. Some of the people I work with think it’s junk science, but in my opinion even if something has a placebo effect for a person, then I think it could be worth it for them.

Have you tried acupuncture for your face at all? I’ve done acupuncture several times and love it. We also do it on our horses and have seen tremendous results with them.
I think CBD oil isn't entirely junk science, and it really does help some people. However, it is definitely "the thing" right now & people swear it does everything under the sun. The problem is that, because it's "natural," it doesn't require the usual safety testing. Anybody can produce & market it. I could start up MKTokyo's Medical Miracle Company tomorrow, sell you THC oil (which is illegal) instead of CBD oil, and nobody would find out (unless you get busted with it). Nobody knows how toxic it is. We could find out in 10-20 years that it does irreparable genetic/chromosomal harm. Studies have already found evidence of liver damage in CBD oil users, and the only CBD-derivative medication approved by the FDA specifically warns for potential liver damage. We could be heading toward a medical crisis with this largely unproven substance being used at the rate at which it is currently being used. So, you could not pay me to use it until extensive testing has been completed - even if I could acquire it, which I can't. Obviously, if you're using it for a pet or you're an elderly person/someone with a terminal condition, it doesn't really matter what it does over a period of 20 years.

Forky is only the MacGuffin. And thank goodness for that!

The thing that upset us about Bonnie was that Andy wanted to keep Woody and take him to college. But Bonnie was like “my cowboy” and Andy saw Bonnie had developed an attachment to Woody, so Andy let Bonnie have Woody. A year later, Woody is collecting dust in Bonnie’s closet and she totally didn’t even notice he was missing. Missing because Woody was off bringing Forky back to Bonnie, who after a massive meltdown when she couldn’t find Forky was totally fine and ready to continue their road trip later that day. That reminded me of a few really not fun meltdowns by my own kiddo. But I guess it ends out well for Woody, considering. Woody may not have Andy, but he’s reunited with Bo, which is the choice the film set up early on anyway. We really loved Bo in this movie!

I love Bullseye and Jessie, but I don't think I appreciated the story of 2 as a child or adult. LOL
Funny, I actually appreciated TS3 because I felt some of the main toys/characters had better roles and screen time. I did not appreciate how little Ham, Rex, Slink, Jessie, Bullseye, etc were in it. And while Woody was always my favorite over Buzz, I did not like how Buzz was portrayed this time. He just pushed his voice button and did silly things. He has had more of an integral role as a character in the past.

Yes! I thought Forky was going to be some pivotal character. I'll take the adventure and few jokes including the scene during the credits and give it a few laughs!

I agree 100% about Bonnie. Andy reluctantly gave him to her and she tossed him to the wayside. Woody was also the only toy that was really loyal to her and took care of her in Kindergarten.

It was sad to see Woody lose his voice box, but I did like how he helped Gabby Gabby rather than being attacked. Still sad he can't talk now 😭

I agree about Bo too! I missed her in the third movie and thought she was great as a character. The only parts of the movie that made me semi-sentimental were the opening scene transitioning Andy from child to young-adult/showing Bo's story and the end when Woody had to say goodbye and passed on the sheriff badge to Jessie. I think I was ok because it ended happily for Woody. He made his choices.

IDK if the series will continue (probably determined based on Box Office and consumer performance), but it will be interesting to see how they bring them back together if it does happen.

I’m jealous of everyone who has seen Toy Story 4. Dd has worked all weekend and has drivers Ed this week so I can’t go with my kids until 7/4. Hoping my ex doesn’t take them next week:)
Pixar is like my Avengers. HAHA I had to see it! You can always go with them if they do! :-)

I want to see it a second time to fully digest the story. I also had some very rude man in my row with an extremely loud ringtone pickup and answer his phone during an important dialog in the beginning. He walked towards the back of the theater, but did not leave 😒 The same man was also using his VERY bright phone and looked like he could not care any less that he was at a movie with his son 😕

Thank you for adding the spoiler points. I have to wait till next week to see TS 4. My oldest is away this week and she wants us to wait for her to go see it. It's killing me and my youngest. I'm doing my best not to find out what happens.

Did you check the traveler portal online? I never received updates on my approval process but when I went online the approvals were there.
Yep, I know that drill, it says that it'll email with a status change but I doubt it and check at least once a week. Checked Thurs or Fri and still in pending review. We're coming up on 11 weeks later this week which is what I read in their support section. So hopefully soon!
He did, finally. It took exactly 12 weeks.
Great news! Shame it won't work out for this trip, but probably works better to do the interviews on arrival since you'll be there anyway :)
Everything is exactly the same on each card with the exception of our names...
Well this will be interesting. I'll bet on getting both offers. (But that could be me sitting in a casino talking :p) If it were me I'd use your husband's card and see how it shakes out.

Ugh—inconsiderate people do me in!

If they go with their dad one of them is going to have to humor me and see it again. Probably my daughter—she’s the people pleaser. But really she only cares about Marvel!

I have. Not sure if its OK with Chase and or Plastiq but mine got through just fine.

Thanks. So I actually went ahead and scheduled it to meet my cip spend sooner and since I have the Plastiq promo. Then I realized I forgot to actually pay with the CIP and used my Arrival + instead!:headache:

Oh well, not a huge expense or in a real need of
Getting my cip bonus this stmt close so not the end of the world, but makes me mad I did that. I wish Plastiq made you choose the card easy h time instead of defaulting.

In good news I checked and my Arrival + bonus is showing! I erased my two travel charges as planned, which I think takes a few days to actually show. My stmt doesn't close for a few weeks though, am anxious to see the credit show.

I just checked and my 2nd CIP was approved on March 23rd. I am now eligible for #3. Any thoughts on if it's worth it to take the risk and apply?

I only have 1 large expense coming up in August that would cover the $5,000.00 MSR.

Anyone else have CIP #3? Any words of caution? Last application I used first name last name and my SSN (I don't have an EIN).

I can only do 1 MSR now as I don't really have any major expenses on the horizon and will be out of town for most of the summer. On that note, how long does the CIP take to arrive? We leave on July 5th for ~6 weeks and I'd ideally like to have before we leave so I can charge any spending I do while away to the card.

If I get turned down I can always try for the AA Aviator bus. or another Citi AA bus. (but I'd need a mailer since I'm not willing to risk not getting the points).

Do you have to re-enroll in the Amex Platinum Sacks credit every 6 months? I just bought something on the Amex and noticed that I wasn't enrolled even though I was definitely enrolled and used the credit 6 months ago.

Really enjoyed Duke Caboom- stole the show for me. Keanu Reeves! I was surprised that TS3 was released in 2010. Time flies.

For some reason, my fav was TS2. I just liked the premise of Woody being a vintage toy, plus Kelsey Grammer as Stinky Pete was terrific. Being the Seinfeld fan, I loved Wayne Knight as Al.

I’m the same way! Dh loves the avenger movies but I’ll take Pixar any day. I do like them but not as much as Pixar.

I would’ve been so mad if that guy was next to me. I'm the type of person that would’ve said something like “can you please put your phone away or turn your brightness down”

Had a 1 night stay in Atlanta last night due to Delta and weather issues. Flew around so long waiting to land that we had to go to Columbia, SC to refuel so of course missed our connection. The rebooking agent gave me a phone number to call to try to get Delta to cover the hotel. Anyone had success with this? As a huge SW fan I know they would be compensating us for taking 24 hours AGAIN to get us home.

The annual fee posted for ours too and I just paid it because I figure it will be easier to fight them for a refund than to fight a delinquent mark on his credit report.

I'm so invested in this, I really hope this ends up working out for you! Would encourage me to get an EIN and maybe sometime in the future try again for a Barclay biz. Maybe.

What exactly have the issues been with Biz cards with Barclays lately? Have the problems only been for those who are applying for their first biz card?

Apparently, Barclay thinks it's okay to approve people for a card, then never let them use the card. My card was declined the first (and second, third, etc) time I tried to use it. They've been asking for "proof of business" after approving. Tax returns, business license, stuff like that. Things that are not required for a sole prop. I sent in my personal tax returns but of course that's not what they're looking for. I mean, it's fine if they want to require certain things, but they should do that before approving that person. I'm assuming I'm stuck now if I wanted to apply for any other Barclay credit card, I'd have to wait due to the fact that they'll only approve 1 card every 6 months I believe. So that's frustrating.

I’m thinking of the JetBlue biz because they have good redemptions to Colombia and the SUB can get almost all of us there. Did you apply as a sole proprietor with your name as business name and your Social Security as EIN?
I’ve hated my experience with the Barclay Aviator (received my 60k miles yesterday! Hope to never have to see that card again!) but this card would be really helpful.

Yes, sole prop, my name as business, SS# as EIN. See above for more details. Just beyond frustrating.

Thank goodness I have Chase. Haven't even tried Amex lately, so who knows. But I do put some decent regular spend on my BCP since it gets 6% at grocery stores. My husband however, we don't use his Amex cards unless it's for an offer. But as long as the cippy cup runneth over, we'll be okay. Even without, I think we can figure out how to get by without Barclay biz cards.
