We’re in line at disneysea and holy cow you guys these people show up early. We showed up an hour and a half early and are about 8 people back but I we still have an hour and there are tons of people behind us.

I did this accidentally on Friday night - bought gift cards at a Giant and then found out they were 4X. I went to my account and under Ultimate Rewards I clicked 'rewards activity' and added up my bonus earn starting from April 1 to present. My Giant also did not credit me with fuel rewards after a certain amount stating there was a gift card limit - I bought a total of $1200 - but did credit me once I went to customer service. I got 4800 fuel rewards or $30 off each of the next 3 fill ups of 20 gallons plus an additional $6 off a 4th fill.

Lucky you ours only does up to 2k points. Works that DH needs diesel today so now I can get the rest without going over

What would be the referral bonus to referr P2 to either CIC or CIU?

Like others said no referrals. I would do CIP for P2 and then CIP#2 before doing the CIC or CIU while it’s working. That extra 50k between the bonus and referral is worth it.

I'm that guy who takes 3 cans with him to fill up every time (the Giant Eagle max is actually 30 gallons so it's awesome!) We haven't paid for gas in 5 years hahaha!

Ours used to be 25 gallons now it’s 20. DH can fit 48 gallons of diesel so now I just have him get diesel when I have gas points.

What does that mean 0/30 for the CIP?

What am I doing wrong? Applying for DH CIP2 and when I hit submit, it just says to wait and then stays on the application page. I don’t see anything missing, there’s no indication something is wrong. Any ideas?

Are you doing the application at work? Or somewhere there could be a security firewall installed? I am so not a computer person but it seems like I have had that pop up on occasion. I would try doing it on a different computer. You could also call the line and see if anything has gone through. Good luck!

For AA you could previously do a higher amount, I just don't recall offhand what it was. FT mentioned$100 increments max. The screenshot from this morning shows a single $150 charge. Came through like a flight ticket and earned the 5x multiple on it.

Does anyone know if I use a RMN offer for Amazon can I use a preloaded GC balance or do they need to see money spent on a CC? As I side note, does anyone ever get Ebates to work with Amazon? I have the "button thingy" (ha technical term) loaded on my PC and it pops up for every store as soon as I visit it. It never pops up for Amazon and I have to search for Amazon to even get it to show up. I never remember to even try it since it loads for every other store.

Amazon only pays out on certain categories so I'm not sure the browser extensions trigger all the time to show the button. The categories change too.

Isn’t Venmo part of Paypal

PayPal bought Venmo but they are still run as separate services completely. They are starting to integrate some things but slowly and nothing I'd connect with accounts yet, more being able to pay someone across services. (Like an employer can pay from PayPal into someone's Venmo account so they don't need to make a separate PayPal account.)

I’ve had his happen before. Usually it’s because something is missing from your app, but the pop up to tell you comes up so fast you can’t see it (literally the blink of an eye). Try not letting your browser auto fill your app and actually typing out every part of the app.

Chase sometimes has a glitch with one of the browsers, unfortunately I'm useless and don't remember which, but I'd check the status line and make sure it didn't go through then try a different browser. Status line is 800-432-3117 and follow the prompts, I think it's #, 3, 1. If it shows no applications then I guess try again with something else

So I want to believe that AA GC report from this morning, but part of me wants to see the full date first! Kept hoping he/she would come back with a screenshot of that so we can see the year

But it's promising. I tried checking the FT thread to see if there was any whispers there to confirm but I forgot how much I hate the navigation on that site. I think there hasn't been anything new reported on the GC front so this may be the first DP that it's back. (or a total fluke and OP got lucky. or it really is the long con game for fake internet points )

I may need to book an AA flight soon. Ordinarily I would use an AA card, but I am considering buying a $100 GC with amex. That way, if it doesn't get reimbursed, I'm not out a huge amount. But I won't know until another week or so.

@Limes96 Completely different than modern luxury, but we stayed at Dahl House just south of Edinburgh, I think it was. Figured we would only get to stay in a haunted castle once in a lifetime, so we did it. Small bonus was an active Falconry onsite there too. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

I was heading to the bus back to our resort just now and I saw a kid that was lost. I was like it’s ok we will find a cast member. The kid starts running around like in circles frantically crying I keep my distance but follow him and I’m trying to alert a cast member and not a single one was in sight. He thankfully found his family after a few minutes but SO said I looked like a creeper. I didn’t know what to do I can’t believe there wasn’t like a single cast member near the bus area like after it split off.

Giant has a max of 1.50 off per gallon and 20 gallon max purchase. The 20 gallon actually works okay as you can save your points for the next fill and not have to store gas. But, since I've never done this before, I was in the dark on the rules and was planning to fill my five gallon container if I needed to. I've pumped 27 gallons in the past but I do not want to hit actual empty on this vehicle.
