I can't believe some of you are up already :surfweb: fps done but could have been done quicker if I'd been awake enough to think from the start. Got all I wanted and will work on modifying some times up until I use them. Good night!
I've been up waiting in a virtual line for Hamilton tickets and just scored! I'm so excited! It is for the show right here in Providence RI.

Yep...me too...:P....still some available if anyone is interested and the virtual queuing system seems to have been abandoned

ETA: Looks like the virtual queue is back. They seemed to abandon it for 10 mins or so as I was able to get straight to the purchasing page twice.

I received vouchers when I purchased my Universal tickets on the Chase portal. I was able to trade them in for tickets at the attractions ticket desk at Royal Pacific. Only thing you need to worry about is that they are non refundable so just be sure you definitely want them before buying.

As for Landry's, you can use a giftcard at Bubba Gump Shrimp ay Citywalk. That's exactly what I'm going to do in July with the Landry's gc I bought at a discount a couple of months back.
Thanks.

You actually have to start the booking process. You don't have to finish it, but you do have to start it, then it will give you the miles option.
This worked. I was just nervous to keep clicking. When I finally got to the end I did see the miles. For my trip it is significantly cheaper than the Useaamiles site.

How does the car work? Is there anyway to reduce the # of days or does it have to match with your hotel stay?

I think DoC said that Chase is coming out with a student Visa tomorrow. I'm holding off onbthe Discover until I can check that out.
Hmmm.... We’re in this situation as well. This wouldn’t be a support opportunity, correct? Especially if we only hold CIP and any student product would be personal? Pooling of URs within household would be allowed ?

Hit the bonus with the highest cash value to you first. Frugality be darned TBH, if redeeming URs for cash gets you where you want to go faster or better than do it. (Personally I redeemed a lot of URs for tours on my international trip last month and would love to put together another stash of URs to have them available for that again. Tours get expensive fast!)
“Frugality be darned” Love it! I’m trying not to adopt this as a mantra for our trip!! But yes, tours are $$$.
I definitely agree with you getting your own CIP with P2's link. You cannot go wrong here! I *used* to have trouble cashing out UR's because it just hurt to think of how much more they are worth if booking through the UR portal BUT there comes a time when you realize 'cash is king', as they like to say around here, and being able to cover the cost, however that shakes out, is the way to go.

This will be an expensive summer, so I might as well try to see the upside in knowing that each big bill means free gelato, pasta class or a wine tour!!

So let me get this straight for AA business cards...you can apply for a second card withou a mailer if you go throu a different point offer? So 75k first time, 60k next time and so on?
So I don’t think there is any conclusion. At first the theory was those that asked for matches were getting denied the bonuses. But there have been DPs that some have and some haven’t that requested a match. Some people think using different links might be safer but others have been denied too - I think without asking for matches @platamama dh and @Andysol and they used differently links I thinks. Some people are being denied the card outright like @happ @vanjust14 and I applied and were both approved. I did a different offer, I think @vanjust did the same statement credit one twice. We will report as soon as we know our fate

Happy Saturday everyone! I have a question about Alaska Airlines and UR's. The booking window for my flights opens up July 24th. I've been playing around with similar bookings to get an idea of what my flights are going to cost. Alaska Airlines is the only flight from San Antonio to Seattle that is nonstop which is what we want. My MIL is along for this trip and she is not a fan of flying so I want this flight to be as stress free as possible, and AA has first class. So my question is does anyone know when the flights are live to pick from do they ever add more reward flights or what they load is whatcha get? Either way reward or cash I'm going to book with them b/c of the first class option and the nonstop flight. I'm just wondering if more seat options will pop up later. Thanks

Got approved for the AAdvantage cc. I have $3600 in insurance premiums due June 28th. Hope to get the card in time to pay these. So my question is this.....

I will be fulfilling the $4k spend requirement for the bonus earlier than the 4 months given, probably by the end of the first month. Will they still wait until the 4 months to grant me the bonus points? Or does it register as soon as you make the required spending and begin the processing of the bonus at that point?

Your bonus will post on the statement that you meet the spend.
I'm waiting for a card too. Fingers crossed that my card comes sometime next week. Estimate taxes are due 6/17. Message said 7-10 days. 🤞

Slightly :offtopic:

Can anyone recommend a good route planning tool? Something where I can plot all of our stops, calculate a route and then modify to hit a more scenic path if needed? We’re doing a road trip next month from San Francisco to Yosemite to Vegas to San Simeon and returning up the coast to San Francisco. We’ve done a similar path before but I’m trying to show our traveling companions in England what the route looks like and a chance for them to give input. So far I’ve tried Google Maps and Furkot. Thanks!!

Edited to add: if anyone has any must see spots we should hit along the way or a preferred route I’m definitely open to suggestions and new ideas.

Like @kidsfirsttrip said in a previous post, it's a gamble. For me it's been 50/50.

In my case, P1 has an open CitiBiz#1, did the 40K/$2K + $250 offer from Doc's link, instant approval, met MSR, got the 40K, chatted for a match, and got the 20K match (it showed up yesterday).

P2 has an open CitiBiz#1, used same link as P1 for CitiBiz#2, app went pending, got approved, met MSR, chatted for a match, and was denied all bonuses. I'm not mad, I was hoping to play a loophole and it just didn't work for this one.

Since both P1 & P2's #1s were opened in 2017 (but less than 24 months ago), I know the SUB links we used then were different.

I think we all like to find patterns, which is why the DPs people share are important, but I don't know of any pattern with these CitiBiz#2 public offers.

Awesome saw it in Boston I’m pretty sure it’s the same tour group!
Oh cool! This will be my first time seeing it.

Nice!! I wasn't sure what to expect but it wasn't as bad as I thought.

Congrats to you both on scoring Hamilton tickets!!!

Unfortunately the car has to match your hotel stay. I called and asked. I needed the car longer than my hotel stay so I'm just not picking up the car.
