A little late to the party, but we have NEVER been in the Hall of Presidents LOL. Did Tiki once, that was enough. CoP we love though.
Today was my FP day for my short solo trip. Selection was non existent for both FOP and SDD. Couldn't get either at any time on day 1, and only an evening SDD on day 4.

Just got back from Orlando....we also mixed in a lot of the shows, slower rides etc....did the Hall of Presidents, Mickeys Philamagic, people mover, Buzz, 7 dwarfs, splash mountain, carousel of progress ( saw this for the first time at the NY worlds fair years and years ago)
DH can’t do roller coasters and I didn’t want to make him wait for me....book a lot of the above fast passes using the refresh method

If you click on your score, then switch from credit factors to credit report, and then scroll to the bottom and click view past reports it will take you to that page! And you can look all the way back to when you signed up for an account with credit karma.
I screenshotted that, thank you! Always good to have 2 ways to get to an important place.;-)

Approved for CIP 2 this morning:banana:
I've been thinking I should try to get DH a second CIP before his silly furniture store card reports to his credit. We can make the spend on two I am sure. His original CIP was referred from my first one. Should I refer him for #2 from my #2 or is it ok to refer him from my first one a second time.

Congrats... party:
lots of us being approved this morning

Question related to the CSR... I did a PC in to CSR from CSP 6/18. I got my travel credit on 7/18 but my AF didn't post until 11/18. Do I downgrade in after I use the travel credit in July or wait until November after the AF hits?

Since I have the Gold and Platinum personal Amex. I really haven't been using my CSR. I now have the CIP and that also the better car and travel insurance? So I don't really need the CSR? Do I PC back to the CSR again at some point to be able to get the $300 bonus x 2?

Another question about the tips thread on Reddit: Do I post my questions on disboard and then put the links of the answers on dischurners? or do I ask questions over there directly?
@wendow - this sounds interesting to our recent conversation:

So you said that you PCed in June but your $450 AF was charged in Nov... was the original open date of that card sometime in October? Also - does the Chase website show that your travel credit resets again in July? I assume it didn’t reset back in November, did it?

With regards to the reddit; it would be best if those tips threads contained lots of good answers and info and that the questions were asked here. It’s ok though if some of the questions/discussion is there. It just works better if that’s a resource of information with links back to this thread (typically).

Yes, the original open date must have been October. Yes, the chase website shows that it resets in July.

I believe the CIP insurance will only work on an actual business trip.
I used the CIP travel insurance to cover flights I cancelled in 2018 due to wildfires. It only covers you and immediate family members. You do not have to prove business travel.

CIP rental car insurance says you need to be on a business trip. Not sure I would use that since it would be hard for me to prove business related

@SouthFayetteFan @georgina @Chancery8 And any other people with PIT as home airport (I am terrible at remembering, maybe we can share home airports on reddit somewhere?) DH said they are expanding the lounge. It wasn't like that when he was there a couple weeks ago, no clue on how long it will take but it is needed. The one there now is tiny.

Flying June 15. Is it still open or completely shut down?

Just did a little searching. The expansion was announced on Jan 18 but no details on timing/length of work.

Not crazy to me! We actually do want to ride BTMRR for a third (or fourth time) but CoP and Tiki Room and Peoplemover are just as much favs. We want to do it all while at WDW. My kids do love to ride their favs over and over and over and I love it too so no complaints from me :)
I've been missing the headliners with a 3 year old in tow, but I have a new love for all the "kiddie" rides. Peoplemover is def one of my faves, as is small world which DD loves. She also loves teacups but that makes me 🤢

It is open. He said that is next door so I think they are just making it bigger. I wonder if it will shut down at some point?

only difference is Portal redemption is 25% less on the CIP vs the CSR @50%
i carry both the CSR and gold card, i do find many places still not accepting amex so i have my CSR as the backup.
Also the 4x earning on MR is on US dining while the CSR dining works everywhere.

as for reddit, i dont think we have a questions thread. the threads over there arent always looked at by many of us, your best bet would be to ask questions here. If you have a question that cant be answered here, i think maybe @SouthFayetteFan probably can reopen our Questions thread again.

its ymmv. we had someone in here that used the insurance and was never asked to prove business. but ive heard otherwise as well... could be a risk.

I'm looking for a new card to churn, already had the sapphire preferred.I am looking at the capitol one venture card, 50k miles with a 3k spend.
any one have experience with it? is it worth while? draw backs?

Thanks, @Albort . Maybe I'll just keep the CSR as well. Re: reddit, I'll ask the questions on here then.

DH and I both opened them in 2018 for the bonus. It's straightforward and easy to use, fee was waived the first year for us (think we got 60,000 bonus mailers?). It has a $100 precheck/global entry credit too. I have already closed mine and plan to close DH's when he's had it a year. I had to cancel a trip I had erased with miles, so now he has a negative travel credit which I am not sure how to handle when I want to cancel.

I am wondering what everyone does at Magic Kindom? lol We did everything! And lots of stuff more than once. I think the only thing we didn't do last trip was the speedway. We did everything else, Tom Sawyer, Railroad, Treehouse, Country bears, Dumbo, Carousel etc included. We love Tiki room and COP. I even like the hall of Presidents. It is a nice cool break. Really only thing we don't do is shop and do parades. We are not souvenir people at all so I think maybe that gives us lots more time. We have friends that work there and I posted some of our day on FB and they couldn't believe everything we had gotten done that day. They asked was it not crowded? I was like of course it was crowded, we just don't waste time. We even take breaks each day. I spent the day there once with them, again they work there and are there all the time on off days and half the day with them was shopping and eating, drove me bonkers.
