No. The update includes a lot of new emojis!

I can't remember specifically if stitch was there, but I think he was, but those bouncing emojis were on the last board. It's a bunch of bouncing disney characters and I didn't see them used much anywhere on the dis. I'd like them more if they weren't bouncing. But the first 4 categories of emojis are rhe same 4 tabs we had before. I'd end up on all of them trying to find one emoji, they blend together and there's a couple I struggle with so I appreciate the most used section that's there now.

I don't usually differentiate to DH anymore, because it leads to another 10min conversation of if that is really okay

It took me almost a year to convince him it was the first time around, which was me getting one, and I didn't get him to get one for another 10 months after that!

DHs bigger concern currently is the bank accounts. I'm waiting for his measly $10 mobile deposit bonus from BoA to post so I can kick that one to the curb.

This morning he said "I have an American Airlines card in my wallet, should I use that?" Nope, give me that because I'm going to finish MSR on it today lol.

I'm not doing as many bank bonuses. I find opening all those accounts and keeping up with all the rules overwhelming. I can only handle so much lol and there just isn't enough in the tank for bank bonuses atm.

Speaking of which, though, today is the AMEX Plat app day! Sometime while I have a minute at work. Because I never sat down to check links at home again but have never had luck there with an increased offer. I think part of the reason I am finally ready is I can finally cover the AF with money currently in our travel fund (which is where I usually cover them from, since I figure the AF is getting me way more in free travel). It was running lean there for a bit between the April trip and Disney GCs lol.

Man, my Barclays AA Biz is still pending. I haven't called, but I haven't had any calls from an unknown number either. Last time my Arrival Plus app took almost the whole time, and I guess 10 business days is Thursday...

I applied 4/23 for the Barclays aa biz and went pending. 10 days later I got a letter in the mail asking for a copy of my liscence, ss card and a utility bill, which I sent it. 5/23 I got a letter in the mail stating they had revived those and to call.

I called and had to answer questions about my “business”. I basically said I sold stuff online and wanted the card to keep shipping fees separate from my personal expenses. I was approved, but with only a 1k limit, which will be fine considering I plan to spend 1k for the bonus and never use the card again.

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I am a scrapbooker as well and prefer paper over digital. I do churn out a Shutterfly book more often then I do a paper page nowadays. It makes me feel less guilty about not printing photos often. I remember always going through my parents and grandparents photo albums, and how I don't have any for my kiddo to flip through. I do have a few albums complete, but I only do a few pages a year now.

Now I just have to convince the husband that business cards are ok. My plan is to get him on the CIPpy cup this summer. We just had a long discussion about all the cards I've opened up this year ( a whopping 3-CSP, Amex Bonvoy Buisness, CIP) and how I'm going to ruin my credit score. And I won't be able to get a house loan if I wanted. Umm we just paid our house off last year and we have no desire to move so not sure what that is about. Probably just years of always being told your credit score dictates your next financial move. I reassured him that I am keeping a close eye on my score which only moves a few points here and there and I am following great sound advice from you all here.

Yea for another scrapbooker! I do get a little excited when my kids actually get a book out and look at it. Makes me feel like all the work was worth it other than for just me.

As far as the opening multiple cards, I've been opening most of them in my name, DH has a few, but I have the Biz cards and do most of the opening. For giggles this weekend he got his FICO score and was all impressed with his over 800 score. So I said check mine smarty pants and it was even higher!! Number of cards doesn't matter, it how you use them. Now, I will soon be moving him into the CIPpy cup club.

I couldn’t say for certain on those airlines but I would guess that you should be able. I know that award flights on BA offer seat assignment choices for a fee. I have paid for my mom’s seat assignments on award flights. You migh have to get the record locator for each of the partner airline tickets and log in each to choose and pay for seats. Call United and ask if they can give you the record locator from each airline for each segment if they are unable to provide seat assignments. Then, see if you can do it online by logging into each airline. Worst case, you have to call each airline with the record locator number.

I’m nowhere near those posters league, but booking with UR, I’ve always been able to put the confirmation number on the airlines website and purchase tickets directly through them. Have you tried finding your flights on the United website?

Thank you - my united account actually listed a reservation code for TAP Portugal (but not for the other airlines). I went on the TAP website and was able to pull up our reservations and choose seats for all of our flights on that website (even for the other airlines). My United reservation now shows the seat assignments for all people/legs, but when I go back into the TAP Portugal site it doesn't show me that I've picked seats on the non-TAP flights (although the seats I picked are showing up as "taken" in the seat inventory). So, I think I've managed to choose our seats. Also, no charge for any of the seat assignments - all said "fee may apply", but the actual fee was showing up as $0. that it actually worked.

The agent misspelled my daughter's middle name so I've already called United to ask them to fix it. The agent said he sent notification to the other airlines, but its still wrong. Going to wait a few days to see if it gets fixed, but if I wind up having to call to get it corrected, I will also double check and make sure we really have seats.
