A few weeks back, I posted here for advice on finding fruits and veggies at Disneyworld. (Useful tips -- thanks!) I was going to Disneyworld for 12 days, and I didn't want to stray from my diet.
Well, I'm back now, and I lost weight while at Disneyworld! I let myself eat more than I usually do (2000 calories instead of 1400), because I was getting so much exercise. (In addition to lots of walking and swimming, I also lifted weights twice.) I was very careful about the *types* of food I ate, letting myself have just a small treat (half of a serving of sugar-free cheesecake, say) each day. I brought in some diet snacks (soybeans, protein bars) to the parks, and mostly bought salads and fruit in the parks.
I was gone for 12 days, and came back 5 pounds lighter than when I went! I think I've just invented a new diet -- the Disneyworld Diet! What a great excuse to go to Disneyworld!
