I could blame the snow storm this weekend. Or the added stress in my life, but I will not. I decided to make Choc. Chip cookies and I decided to eat them. I was hungry this weekend and I made some not so good choices.

But I am back on track and I am committing and admitting to myself that I am human, I make mistakes, but know what's best for me.

I will continue to lose weight because that is my choice!

If anyone has any words of encouragement, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for allowing me to confess my indulgence.

Hugs  for you!! It can be tough sometimes to admit that we are NOT perfect - we try so hard to be, don't we?? ::yes::

You will be back on track in no time! Drink extra water today and move on! The past is....in the past. Now it's time to change what you CAN change - the future.

Glad you're back on the healthy living bandwagon!! :sunny:

I want to give you some encouragement too. What program are you on? Whatever you have been doing in the past to have a healthly lifestyle, you can get back in the groove. It feels so good to be successful but I think we need the slips in our lives. When we survive them and bounce back to our healthy eating plan, it can make us stronger. Look at it this way, you could have gone from eating the cookies and said to heck with it and added ice cream or a whole pizza or bag of chips and had one endless day of overindulging after another. Instead you are choosing to pick yourself up, admit what you did that was negative to you, and start over again.

Think about it this way - if you are climbing up a flight of stairs and stumble half way up, do you go all the way back down to the first step and start again? No, you continue from where you are. That's what you have to do. Pick up from today and move on. We are all here to support you!!! We all can do this together!!!

<font color=teal> Hi,

You are doing great. Just knowing that you need to watch is half the battle. We are only human and will have both ups and downs. Just keep plugging along and you will get the results that you want.

I just wanted to remind you that this isn't just a temporary fix but a lifestyle change. We all have the slip-ups and that is OK as long as we catch ourselves and get back on track which it sounds like you have done. We also have to treat ourselves every once in a while or we will indulge too often. Keep up the great work.

Just to let you know. I am back on track and lost 2 lbs. so far this week. I am on WW and had homemade cookies this past weekend. They were good but I was not following my WW points. However, for the past three days I have eaten within my points, not using my flex points. I weighted myself on Tuesday at weigh in and I was the same as last week.

However, I weighed myself this morning and I am down 2 lbs. So, my body forgave me and now I will forgive me.

I think its nice to know that I can make a mistake and get back into the groove. It's okay and so am I.

Thanks for the encouragement - you all help me accomplish my goals.

God bless you all and I hope we can grow (mentally) from all of our experiences..... :grouphug: :grouphug:
