I loooooove my MP3

For our birthdays, DS and I got Philips 2G MP3 players.

This is not news for most people, I know, but this thing is freaking fantastic! It is a music-lover's dream. I spent the weekend loading my CDs onto it. It took forever, but was oddly fun.

I have it set to shuffle all the songs, so it's kind of like listening to a commercial-free radio station with only the coolest music.

I have these "earbuds" stuck in my ear so much, that even when they're out I still feel them. Last night DS and I were home and received 5 answering machine messages anyway because he and I aren't hearing anything. If we need to talk to one another, we just yell. It's been very funny.

I know, I'm silly and behind-the-times, but I just had to share my joy of my new discovery!!

Oh, and I can do this and NO skipping

i know...I can't believe I used to cart CD's everywhere!

funny - my dad's new Toyota 4Runner has a hookup for an MP3 player! Right in the dash! Looks like a headphone jack connection. I SO WISH my Rav had come with that option!

OH - I'm not a huge fan of the 'ear buds'...so I have the "street-style' behind the back of the head headphones. I love them. I'm on my 2nd pair (only because one got demoted to the "gym pair" and are really nasty. Super comfortable, but also alow you to hear other things if you have them low enough.

my mp3 player is the only reason I dont' throttle more coworkers.
