Okay - this news story is completely odd. In fact, we haven't really even gotten wind of this here in Burbank.
I found this comment on the TMZ boards when I was trying to research it:
25. I live near this area in Burbank - and two years ago he DID get Brockovich's attorneys - and they did the best job they could to scare the hell out of everyone in this pocket of equestrian and residential heaven. But fortunately, some real testing was done - and the scare turned out to be false. This is a nuisance suit, plain and simple. Perhaps a padded cell would him happier? I know it would make our neighborhood much happier...

Interesting that this is possibly the second time this person is trying this lawsuit and that I couldn't find any actual real news sites like the LA Times to support any of this....
Oh well - I still love our little neighborhoods here.
