I like the lowered weekend points points.

I have always been one of those people who avoided the weekends like the plague. I frequently reserved the OKW GV for five nights as soon as the 11 month window opened up, and rarely stayed longer.

I have a short stay planned in a one bedroom at BLT and just decided to add a Friday night. The difference in points, 42 vs 28, doesn't seem as un-doable (is that a word?) as it always used to.

I think we will all make out OK on the change.

Not everyone. Once a year we get a Boardwalk Grand Villa and the points for them actually increased on weekends.

For example this November's stay is 429 points for five nights. Next year will be 439 points for the same five nights. It won't make a big difference to us but it just figures that of all the weekend points they lowered, they would raise the one that we so often use.
