I left the cream cheese & sour cream out

This morning I noticed that I left the sour sream & cream cheese on the counter. No air on so the house was warm. I'm pretty sure the sour cream has to be trashed but what about the cream cheese? Does this go bad? The package was never opened. OK tell me the bad news quickly so I can go back to the store to purchase some more. Thanks.

I would have to say YES.. Plus is it really worth it to get sick from eating something that will cost $3 to replace. I would replace it.
Just last week DH left the milk in the car for 2 days! Thank god it was on sale for $1.99 that week.

I would think it is bad too. They keep it in the fridge part of the store right??

Hate to say it, but I would get rid of it. I did the same thing the other night. I never put away the potato salad from our BBQ. Just threw it away the next morning.

they are cheap enough that I would toss and buy new rather than have anyone get sick from it.
