I leave in less then a week and my excitement has nothign to do with disney!

I leave next Saturday morning and while usually I am bouncing off the walls in anticipation of seeing the Magic Kingdom and this being my favorite time down at Disney with MNSSHP, my excitement is coming from the fact that I will have lights at night and air conditioning

I am in Houston and we are still dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Ike. No power since last saturday and they are saying MAYBE power by this thursday but seems rather iffy as I dont tend to see anyone even remotely working in my area. I look forward to my days here at work so I at least have A/C and a connection to the outside world.

Oh my goodness I would be excited for that too!!! I am so sorry I didn't know that people where still with out power. I guess that is what I get for not watching the news. I am so sorry

still about a million of us without power but hey at least my house is still standing. I was hoping to have power before I leave, dont want to pack a suitcase full of dirty clothes and have laundry be the first thing I do when I arrive at disney

After hurricane Isabelle a few years ago, I was without power for 8 days. I understand what its like. When the power comes back on it really is a great feeling. Hope it comes, on sooner than you expected.

got mine back however my sister who lives in the same neighborhood only 3 streets over...no power and the power company is telling her they have no idea when, only that it will definitely be after this coming sunday
