Yes, most restaurants and stores give DVC discounts roughly equivalent to a Deluxe AP. I have a Deluxe AP (my wife has a Signature). When I have given them my cards, they usually tell me the discount is the same. When my wife shows them her cards, they almost always take the Signature AP discount.
