It must be a sign that it's time to go back to work...in between cleaning this morning (some light cleaning yes) I have my bags almost all the way packed. I only have one pair of pants to pack and essential undergarments and I can leave. I have charged the batteries for the camcorder and have packed that, have charged the batteries for the camera and have packed that, am in the process of charging extra batteries to bring along, getting ready to organize where I'm putting my tickets, money, plane tickets, etc. I know I know...it must be because I realized that 3 weeks from right now I'll be there and not that I'm a tad bit excited or anything!!!!!!



Oh...and my pillow!!!!

I can't wait to see you at DC....Just from the few times that we have met, I am betting that you are one "giant smile" the whole time! Which will be great!!
I will pack in the early morning hours before my plane takes off.. It helps me to not think about flying

YOU??? I have a list!!!! and I already have all my documents and ressies under control, all my bills paid or ready to go before I go...the only thing I'm NOT doing is pre-cooking dinners for the family, they can go to McDonalds if they want to!
I'm going over and over my discon schedule , I have to buy the tickets ( that's important ) but everything else is done.
I wonder if I can go now.!

I generally bring jackets - windbreakers - but mostly shorts and disney T-shirts.

Anybody got any weather reports on what the weather will be - so I know what to pack?

Yup...pillows!!! Now I know sleep is going to be nill but what sleep I will be getting I HAVE to have my own pillow!!!! That's a staple and fortunately I have a suitcase big enough to not only pack an extra bag for goodies to bring home but also to pack my pillow!!! I can hardly believe it. When we bought it I thought, this isn't going to hold all my clothes....ROFL...I think dh is glad we bought it now!!!!! Will come in very handy for this family!

Heck...I think I even have enough to stow a person away in it!!!!

I'm a cross between Mskanga and OkieDisney, right now. I've got list after list and, I've packed 2 things so far. DD packed 2 pictures for me, too!

And, like Mskanga, my family will have a list but, it isn't about where to find the pre-made dinners!! Eat out!! That's what I'm doing! LOL

I am packing mostly shorts and t shirts with short sleeves - but will have a couple pairs of long pants one sweatshirt and one long sleeve shirt - and of course the jacket that will be needed to get from home to the airports

Sam, do not panic, I love stress packing....it keeps me young.

Remember I have two more trips between now and DIS Con, so I am not even going to pack for DIS Con until two days before. I will take you shopping if we forgot anything.

Besides, we won't care what we are wearing during DATW and the hoisting events!!!

I have not packed yet... but the lists have been a work in progress!

The one "to do" that is not "ta done" yet ... is I need to obtain appropriate head wear for the formal tea. I may have to just get creative and fashion my own "personal" style bonnet.
