So we are going in September with a family of 16 staying at the AKV Jambo house in a GV and a 1bdr Value room. Do you think there might be a chance since I booked both those rooms as one reservation that they might move the value room to either a 1bdr standard or even if im lucky a savannah room so that our rooms are close together or do you think there is no chance? Honestly it doesn't matter to us either way as I will be in the GV savannah room it was just a thought that I had.

Well I booked them on the same phone call looking online it appears they are two separate reservation numbers. Hopefully they are linked together so we know we are a group.

You need to send MS an email adding a "travel with" notation to each of the reservations. You also need to work with the front desk at check in to make sure it happens.

You'll learn, there's no "hopefully" anything when it comes to DVC and member services. If you need something done, make sure it's noted that way on your reservations.

OP, DVC upgrades are done when there is a rare overbooking or a room goes out of service. It is not like upgrades for cash resort reservations. I leave it to you to decide how likely it might be that this will happen.

There's always a slim chance anything can happen but I wouldn't count on it. Even if you booked a standard or savannah view, there is no guarantee they would be close.
