I know I can pool hop, but what about gym hopping?

If I am staying at OKW, as a DVC member can I go over and use the gym at SSR?

Yes you can!

As long as you are staying at a WDW Resort that offers a gym, you can use any gym on property for free.

If you were staying at a Value resort, you would have to pay a day use fee to use the gyms on property because values dont have gyms.

Anyone know which gym (DVC) is the best? Out of the 3 DVC resorts I've stayed at (SSR, OKW, BWV) SSR topped the others.........now that I think of it I never did OKW's gym.

I'd have to say SSR by a mile!

It's large, has great equipment, and its in a spa! I have a great little gym here at home that is very spa-like and SSR does a wonderful job in running their facility. We like to walk in the morning and then stop by the SSR gym for some stretching and light weights.

I've been to BWV, BCV, AKV, OKW and VWL and SSR tops them all. The others are in a dead heat with OKW bringing up the rear.

do you mean the gym at AKV or at SSR? When I did more research (which I was too lazy to due originally ) I found it listed on the site saying I could use the SSR if I was a dvc member, just needed to show my dvc card. Renting points I will assume it will say DVC on your room card, however I dont know if that would be enough to use the gym at SSR, you might be required to show the actual DVC membership card, which would put you out of luck for any gym other then the one at the resort you are at.

you are a guest of the resort - so the gym is free.

Like both SSR and VWL the best of the gyms.

no matter how you 'pay' for your stay at a particular resort, if you are staying there you are a resort guest and thus able to use their facilities. So yep you can use the gym at AKV
