I don't know totally but all this rain we are getting here in eastern MA is horrible, I fell like I should be on Noahs ark right about now. How is it where you live whether it be MA or not?

we're getting remnants of the storm too. buckets of rain, howling winds, very loud thunder. but what scared me was this morning, as I was driving down my street, I had to swerve to avoid a falling tree.

It's pouring cats and dogs. And it's been like this since yesterday afternoon. It's crazy.

it hit just 2 houses down from ours in No VA!

NO lives were lost but many people willl be replacing cars!

Many trees are down & chain saws are humming!

We're very waterlogged here(west of Albany,NY)It poured all night and I lost power around 6 am and just got it back.The dogs do NOT want to go out-but keep looking at me like stop it MOM-I know they need to go but they refuse to go out.The rain stopped about 30 min ago-its still really damp and cold.(52 degrees)I think its a great day to sleep.

Sorry to say, but it's absolutely gorgeous here in NW Ohio. All the rain went south and east. It is about 70 and perfect for our town festival today.

Raining and really windy. Earlier today I saw some little birds taking cover inside one of my covered birdfeeders. They were fighting over it.

Unfortunately, I have to go out in a bit to get a birthday present for someone (last minute...it's really hard to shop for a 23 year old guy) and I have no idea what to get him, but his party is tonight at 8.

I hope it clears up by then.

We had 5+ inches pof rain since Friday 7pm. Our finished basement is now wet. Unfortuately, I just have to wait for the water to "run it's course" until I can really get it back in shape. The creeks and river (Susquehanna) in our town are over their banks and the river hasn't crested yet. Some roads are water covered, cares are stuck, people are moving items to higher floors, and even some areas being evacuated. Ugh-what a mess......but at least I can spot a bit of blue sky!

......I think I will just pull out our Disney Cruise Line photos from this summer and stare at them for a while. (sigh)

Sorry to hear that Ivan is affecting you all over the northeast now. Today is a beautiful sunny day here in the hurricane state. I think it is about 88-90 degrees outside. Just got home from my son's baseball game and I see that I got a little burned. Sunny outside or not, it is a cave inside my house with all the windows boarded up still.
