I kidnapped a Travelocity Gnome :) new pics-post #36!

I have a FlatSharon who has been to WDW, London, Paris, Disneyland Paris, and most recently, China and Tibet. She gets a lot of attention in her Mickey Mouse ears and after I get home from each adventure, I do a scrapbook just of her pics with her own storyline.

Wow, FlatSharon has been to some amazing places! And, just wanted to add-my name is Sharon.:rotfl:

Your pics are so cute an funny. :lmao:
Please do keep us updated.

Have you sent any at all to the owners? Or are you waiting till the end to send all the pics?

I've sent a few pics and a few postcards from various locations. My 77-year old aunt is the one that is getting the biggest kick out of all this.:) She is the one that purchased the gnome for her daughter (my cousin) and husband and placed him in their garden. Everyone, though, keeps asking to see more pics, but I told them they'll have to wait until he completes his summer travel journal!

FABULOUS, luv!!!

Keep that GNOME traveling and keep updating this thread!!! :cool1: :cool1:

Will do!:lmao:

I just added a few pics to the previous post. I left off a couple of pics from Mexico.

I absolutely LOVE all of your pictures. What a great idea. (Now I want one!!!);) I just looked and Amazon.com has an 8 inch and a 13 inch gnome. How tall is yours?

These are great pictures!

My parents have an RV and travel a lot. I bought my dad a Travelocity travel gnome for his birthday. I think it will be a lot of fun and he and my mom really liked it. I found his at Meijer. We got the 8 inch one. I think he was 10 dollars, but for some reason I want to say $13.99, too. :confused3

He'll be headed up to the beaches of Michigan in a couple of weeks.

He's 13 inches tall. Here's another pic for you. He partied with us over the 4th of July. That's his personal gnome-sized fan beside him.:rotfl:

He's also very lucky to have the use of a car and a house while he's visiting us.:rotfl2:

Honestly, we've been having a lot of fun taking him on trips with us! He's been a real conversation piece, and people seem more than happy to have their picture taken with him.:rotfl

Do you have a blog? You could start one talking as the Gnome, from his point of view. :rotfl2:

This is just too funny! Thanks so much for making me laugh. Keep on taking those pics for us to enjoy TG's escapades.

A blog would be cute.

When my DD was in 4th grade, they adopted a manatee and had a stuffed manatee in the classroom. They named it and each weekend a child got to take the manatee home. They had to take the manatee with them where ever they went on the weekend and write in the manatee's book. My Dd got to bring him home over Christmas Holidays. We took picture of him in front of the Christmas tree and even had a present for him on Christmas morning.

If you start a FB page I will be a friend too.

Our gnome (or I should say, his impostor:headache:) is back from his latest adventures. If anyone wants to continue following his journey, please go to http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2520892- what happens when kidnapping a gnome goes bad.:scared1:

Gnome #1 was last seen in public after enjoying a cheeseburger and fries.

luv, were you in SoCal again??? My FAVORITE burger place!!!

No, we have In-N-Out Burger in Tucson. One is about a mile down the road from us.:woohoo:

You mean the Gnome clone. :teeth:

:rotfl: I was SO careful with gnome #2 on our recent excursion. I kept him in bubble wrap in a tote bag and only brought him out when we needed him. I'm taking him on a day trip tomorrow, then I'm packing him up and sending him home. I've been having a lot of fun putting his travel journal together and finding small gifts to send back with him.:) It's been an experience, to say the least!

We have to get a pic of him going in the box with all the goodies, before you send him back! :lmao:
