Florida voter here. In my county they got rid of the touch screen machines and went to an optical scan paper ballot. I prefered the touch screen but I think most people in my county would rather fill in an oval.

I'm in Polk and we had the optical scan ballots too. I really don't see how anyone would have been able to mess them up.

I can't understand it either. Touch the screen. How hard is that? If you can use an ATM you can certainly vote on a touch screen (bigger buttons, fewer options...). You'd think they were idiot proof.
