We had the GREAT pleasure of seeing Off Kilter this weekend at an Irish festival in Indianapolis, about 60 miles from home. I never knew that they did shows outside of WDW. The best part was they did 2 60 minute shows yesterday. I told my son it was like seeing 6 Epcot (20 minute) shows! We were able to talk to Jamie before the show and I quickly embarrassed my 14 yo son by telling Jamie that we love them!! I was like a giddy school girl. After their first show, we bought their newest CD and had each member sign it. The best part was when we were talking to Jamie and my husband took my picture with him. I really thought I was going to faint!! He is soooo cute. Does anybody know if he's married?! What a great way to get a WDW fix without the $$$. Oh, I almost forgot... at their evening show last night they played a special request....It's A Small World!! It was great!!

That's so cool! We saw a group at Epcot, called Baka and Beyond ,this past summer and a week after we got home My dd and her bf went to see them right here in Maine. She said they put on a great show and the crowd loved them.

How neat! They are on our *must-see* list every time we go to WDW...we love Off-Kilter! :)

I had no idea they performed anywhere besides Epcot. I checked their schedule at their official website Off Kilter They do have a few other things listed but nothing close to us unfortunately.

 All the Off Kilter fans should join their Fan Club to show support! Info about the Fan Club as well as Tour Schedule, Merchandise (hats, shirts, CDs), Contact Info, etc. are all on the website at
www.offkilter.net
We see them here in South Florida every St. Patricks Day, that seems to be a regular gig for them. It really is different & fantastic to see them play a concert outside of WDW. They are more casual, a little more R rated at times & more accessable. I'll be seeing them next weekend at WDW, as usual, timing my schedule around theirs! :smooth:

Yay! Off Kilter is playing near me tomorrow. I'm going to try to get over to see them. I had seen signs for it, but I was worried it was some other band calling themselves that, but it's really them! Yay!

Too bad I don't have a car here at school then I could go see them at Edinboro! I even have a friend who goes there! I'll have to send him in my place ;-) Now, I'm off to listen to Off Kilter CDS!

Cool!

I'm in Indy but didn't make it to the Irish Fest this weekend. :(

My sister, my best friend & her husband went and had a blast. I'll have to ask them if they saw/heard Off Kilter!

I will be over at Edinoboro tomorrow too!

We are fortunate here in the Cleveland area. They are here twice a summer!

I'll be in Edinboro tomorrow, too! I ordered my tix a while ago and the girl told me they are front row but I am picking them up when I get there and until then I am keeping my fingers crossed! It's a five hour drive but well worth the trip. I also caught them at each of the Ohio Irish Festivals. I plan my WDW days around THEIR schedules! I really love their "tour" concerts since they generally are longer and can get away with a little more! My sister swore she would be bored but I dragged her to see them last year in WDW and she has gone with me to every Irish Fest since! I wonder how this Edinboro concert will be since it's actually in an auditorium?! Who cares? I am going to see Off Kilter tomorrow! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

The pipes are calling me........

 kapeppy, I hope you'll share a full report. I can't imagine them on an indoor stage! I've seen them many times in many places, but never indoors. Don't forget your video cam.
Those pipes are callin' me too!
ROCK ON!!! :smooth:

Eljay,
You missed another awesome performance! Definitely worth the 4 1/2 hour drive! The auditorium was pretty packed but I have a feeling that not everyone "got it" or shall I say were as entertained as I was. There were some students sitting next to me and they were really into it - one of them had seen them in EPCOT and convinced his friends to join them and they were having a ball! I think they kept Jamie entertained because they were just laughing so hard.

I called the Edinboro box office and was told no video cameras so I didn't bring mine. Bummer! I did take some pics, though. The guys were sweet and stayed after the concert to do the usual signing and picture taking. Gotta love it!

It was sort of weird seeing them inside an auditorium. It was like being back in high school and watching the school band perform. I definitely like the outdoor setting better. We really did have front row seats and were "up close and personal."

Anyways, I got my temporary "kilt fix", got my fan club membership card signed, and met some fellow DIS'ers (Hi!). Couldn't ask for a better way to spend a Tuesday night! Now I just have to wait another 23 days for the real thing!

In the meantime, I won't let my meat loaf, I won't run with scissors and I will keep my hands in the clapatory postion until the next time!
