For my BLT stay!...i have a 1bed LV booked. What floor do LV start from?
I really don't want to be too high..:scared1:..But I still want a nice view..;)

Anyone been close to the bridge?...What are your thoughts?

Oh no!!...I didnt know what floor it was on but the CM at MS told me 4th!??

I guess I better call back..I just called again 3 mins ago to add even numbered rooms to my request!

It's the 4th floor on the CR side, but the 5th floor of BLT...maybe that's why the CM was wrong.

the higher the better for both LV and MK.

that say don't like heights - so go with standard - it highest is 5th floor.

the walkway is on the southern part - so make sure you request that too.

love the northern side - it is closer to the MK.

Hello

Last year I requested a room near the elevator that was close to the skybridge.
To my surprise we received a room on the 6th floor right next to the elevator. It was the room one floor above the sky bridge and we really liked it.
you could not hear the elevator at all. If you wish the view I would ask for a room higher than the 6th.

Here is a link to view some pics of our view.

Good luck to you.

I wonder how noisy it is on the 5th floor near the bridge? I've stayed at BLT twice but both times I was on the other end of the bldg. I notice how busy it gets around there and wonder if the people in the rooms nearby hear it?

Just returned last night and we were on the 6th fl. (Lake View) near the bridge and we had a wonderful view and were not too far from the elevator. Just a heads up, the bridge to the Contemporary is closed temporarily for repairs. One of the workmen told my DH that it could possibly be closed for 2 weeks. A real bummer if the weather is inclement and you are forced to go outside to access anything at the Contemporary (concierge, monorail, restaurants, etc.).

We are not members at BLT and I can't remember exactly when it opened but isn't it a little soon to need repairs? It really didn't look to us like it had anything wrong with it but they were out there with jackhammers!:confused3
