I was reminiscing with my kids about our last WDW trip and we remembered a lovely surprise place we found.

In the MK, there's a Kodak store, and we went in just to look around. There were old-style cameras on display and they also sold film. Then we noticed it was more than a store. We walked further in, and we found a little theater continuously playing Disney cartoons. It was dark and cool, and no one was there! So we sat down and watched a few cartoons and rested. DH fell asleep, and it was just such an unexpected surprise to find this place. We had a chance to get out of the hot sun and rest our poor feet after a long day at MK.

We sat there in the dark for about 30 minutes, and it was hard to leave, it was so cozy.

I almost don't want to tell everyone about this great tucked-away retreat, to keep it for ourselves, LOL, but I wonder if any Disers know about this secret theater in back of the Kodak shop.

It's right off main Street, near Tony's. But don't tell anyone!;)

Yes, we found this after my dd then 5 month fell asleep while I rocked her on that hallway to the right of the exposition hall where they have those white rockers. It was great until the train came by so we moved indoors and found this place. If you look around you can find a place that was not only cool but also quiet. When she woke up we ran into all of the dwarfs just hanging out who posed for pics on the way out. Great memory as well here.

It's the Main Street Exposition Center, Sponsored by Kodak.

Used to be the Walt Disney Story.

More than once, we have accidentally run into Character Meets & Greets back there. Saw Aladdin and Jasmine once and another time saw Fairy Godmother and Suzy. I know there have been others, but I can't think of them now. It must be time to pull out the photo albums again!!!!! :teeth:

Oh how funny, I was literally just talking to my dh about this place a few minutes ago! (I had put in our Alice in Wonderland DVD for the kids and we watched the Mickey Mouse cartoon on it, and it reminded me about it!) We didn't go there last trip and I was saying that we have to go there on the next one. ::MickeyMo

We also found this place after eating at Tony's one night. It was raining off and on and we were waiting to see if they were going to go ahead with Spectromagic or not. Gave the kids something to do while we waited, and many characters came in and out of the area while we were waiting. Cute photo ops in here too!

This is too funny. I just posted about the expo theater on a thread about my favorite hidden Disney spot!

This place is the greatest! It is my special nap place when I get tired.
