Hi, I just wanted to post a quick note about some PP prints I just received today. I ordered my PP CD, and some prints of my own uploaded pictures, on Sunday the 8th and the prints arrived today. The CDs arrived yesterday. :goodvibes

While I was enhancing my PP pictures I saw the 19 cent print offer for your own photos and thought I'd give it a chance. I did some pictures from both WDW and DLR. While they could use more enhancements (especially for WDW) and they need to up date the character looking date border from 2008 to 2009 (as does the PP website) I am pretty happy with the prints.:goodvibes When I added the prints to my cart, it also added a small amount for shipping, however, after I added the PP CD to my cart, the shipping stayed at $7, which is the normal shipping price for just the CD alone.:) So, basically,I got my own prints (taken by me) with free shipping. :cool1: I normally get my prints at Sam's for 13 cents, but 19 cents isn't that much more considering I could add Disney borders.

Only drawback was I wish they offered more borders to add to your own photos and they (Disney PP) would realize that we are now 1-1/2 months into 2009 and a 2009 logo would be great! :confused3

If anyone wants to see any particular DLR PP pictures, let me know. I have alot (from DLR Dec.08/Jan. 09 as well as Sept/Oct/Nov 08 at DLR & WDW)

The last time I was in my PhotoPass account on their site, last month, I saw a 2009 Castle border, I think. Is that still there? I thought I saw a second 2009 border of some kind too. Maybe it is different for the ones which are your own pictures as opposed to the ones which are PhotoPass pictures. In any case, my pictures expired so I can't view the borders anymore, I guess.

The borders are different for your own pictures. Much more limited. But yes, the castle logo with 2009 was there (for ones taken by PP) but not for your own pix.

With your own uploaded ones they don't offer either of the park logos. Basically they have those characters frames (you know the ones I mean, Pluto, Goofy, Mickey, Donald, Tropical) and what I call the Golden 4 corner frames for both DL and DCA. Then they have some basic WDW and DLR frames with the name across the bottom, or top, in different colors. They do have some pretty cool DLR ones with Disneyland written in white and some curliques in white around the photo (these came out nice). They also have a 2008 frame (red) similar to the one the have on PP that looks like the 4 main characters. Oh and they still have 2 holiday ones, 1 Hanukkah (sp?) and one Merry Christmas. That's pretty much it.

Sherry, if you want to check them out for using later, just upload a picture to your account and you'll be able to see the options. :goodvibes

Oh that's true! I never thought of that.:lmao: I was thinking about the fact that my PhotoPass pictures expired last month, long after I got the CD, but I hadn't considered that I could just load one of my own pictures to the account just to see what different borders there are. It's not like I have to buy it or anything. I can just look. Good idea, Dizneydaz!

I saw your new pictures over on the Photopass thread - too cute. I like how you and your daughter are matching with the pink! And see, because my first PP outing was during Halloweentime and the second one was during Christmastime, I wondered what different photo opportunities there will be for PP pictures during just the regular non-holiday times of year, when there is no giant pumpkin or giant Christmas tree to pose with. So I was happy to see the pictures of your daughter by the horse, because that mixes it up a little bit. It is something different that you don't normally see. In December, we posed on Main Street in a location that was foreign to our photographer. It was her first time in that spot and she said she didn't think too many other photographers had been sent there yet either, so there was no template for poses to put the guests in. She was a little clueless about what to do with us. I wish she had put us next to some horses!!

One of the pictures of your daughter with the horse is funny, because the horse appears to be looking curiously at her as if to say, "Who is this child and why is she standing next to me?" To funny!:lmao:

I am glad you got the Stitch by the waterfall pose this time. We got that one in October, but if I recall correctly, I don't think we got it in December (unless I have blanked out).
