I just realized I don't have to take diapers to the parks this year!!!!

Sorry, I was thinking about what I need to pack and what to take in the diaper bag, and I just realized, hey DS is potty trained this year, so no diapers to lug around the parks. I guess I'll take a back pack instead of the diaper bag. Just wanted to share and celebrate. Of course the trade off is he's no longer free now that he's three and we still need to take pull ups for at night.

My DS tells everyone that this year is his first trip to Disney without diapers! Kind of a good feeling--until you realize you may be in line for a ride and suddenly need to run for the restroom!

Ha Ha, that was last year with my older DS, I do remember being thankful then that the little one was in diapers so we didn't have to worry about him. Several times we had to take off running while waiting in line with older DS. But we also planned on going back for a rest one day and then decided not too, later in the day I realized I didn't pack enough diapers for 14 hours at MK. Luckily they were very friendly and gave us a couple at the baby care center. Over the summer, when he was very newly potty trained we had to stop a couple rides at an amusement park at the beach to get him off to go potty. Hopefully he's better now.

Isn't that the greatest feeling. Last May was our first year without diapers and all the extra stuff to go along with them. I am dancing for you!

Dec was our first trip without diapers!!! DD 2 1/2 did VERY well in line and we never had to get out of line to potty!!! We did hit everyone along the way though!!!
She was trying to potty train for a few months and DH and I told her that if we didn't have to buy $60 of diapers every month that we could go to DISNEY!! (I know $60 is EXTREME but she would take it off when she wet it!!! and the GOODNIGHTs by Huggies are NOT cheap) Needless to say. . .we were there for MVMCP!!!

I was hoping for that this trip, but unless DS decides to magically PT in 9 days, we'll still be taking diapers.

My 2 1/2 DD want nothing to do with potty training. DH also told her we could go again if she says goodbye to diapers. She talks about going once she learns to use the potty, but won't sit on it for ANYTHING. Maybe by the end of the year we can go again.

I dream of the day when DD#1 wants to use the potty. I had to ask her ped. the other day what to do when she outgrew the size 6 diapers (she's 2.5 yrs but almost 40 lbs) and wasn't potty trained!!
