I just ordered low carb Margarita Mix (Rosemary and Tig)

I can't wait to see what it's like. It may be completely yucky. But for $4.99 I thought it was worth a shot (huh, a pun?). I was ordering the thick'n thin thickener stuff and they tempted me with this. Has anyone tried it? I forgot to ask how many carbs were in it...can't be as bad as the mix with sugar, though.

What are you going to mix it with? I've only had one Margarita in my lifetime. I'm not too adventurous when it comes to alcohol.
I'm the type that waits to see what everyone else orders for a drink, then I end up getting 7 up and lime. But when I do feel like an alcoholic drink your choice sounds great.
Sounds like a nice summer drink.

I make margaritas using Tequila (carb free) and triple sec (don't know if that has carbs or not) and margarita mix.

I don't often drink because I know my body will burn the alcohol before it burns the fat and I don't want to slow my weight loss. But I just thought a margarita sounded good for the warmer weather. Plus Rosemary was talking about the margarita she had at USF/IOA and it just made me want one

I wonder what ever gave you the idea that I liked margaritas? Did you sneak into my computer room and check out my favorites and notice the link to the Cuervo site? Or did you check my pantry and see the margarita salt? Or perhaps you looked in the hutch and noticed all my margarita glasses? Empty bottles of tequila in the recycle bin? Lime rinds in the trash?

Oh, wait, I do mention them when I talk about TORTILLA CHIPS AND SALSA!!!!

Where did you order the mix from, Kath? I am so grateful for you. You are always making the extreme sacrafice for your friends, all in the name of research. Bless you!!!

My sister invited me over for a girls night shin dig at her house Friday night. That's my scheduled cheat night. I'm also the bartender and I get to make frozen strawberry margaritas (for my sis, she doesn't like the good ones!) and on the rocks regular ones for me and one of the other girls. Woo-hoo! Got the lime juice, triple sec and my shaker ready. I just need some ice chips and good quality tequila.

Did you know that the lounge at Coronado Springs makes really yummy margaritas? They have an awesome frozen peach one. Mmmmm.

Friday night can't get here fast enough!!!!

whimper, whimper... this is so painful... now y'all have the cuervo 1800 in my liquor cabinet begging to be released... and you can't drink cuervo without really good chips and salsa... and here i am, living right in tex-mex territory, a good cantina on almost every corner... at least there's no herradura in the house...
