It seems like it'll be a great camera. Our current point & shoot is almost 5 years old and since this is our 3rd trip (4th for some of us) and in the middle of August (previous trips have been in Nov/Dec), we've decided not to cart around our DSLR most of the time.

Does anyone on here use this point & shoot? It was on sale because the S6300 just came out, but from what I can see there's not much difference in the two models other than the price.

Thanks for any tips!

Recently bought one for my daughter. While I haven't had a chance to really play around with it, it seems like a pretty decent camera. The only real issue I find is that it struggles in low light but what PnS doesn't.

I was looking at the s6200 & s6300 for her as well. The only difference is that the 6300 has a CMOS senor instead of CCD and the video is full HD (1080) vs 720. For what I wanted for her the 6200 at cheaper price was better option.

She'll be taking it to disney with us in 2 weeks so I'll have a better gauge on how it handles.
