Hi :wave2:

Had a fab shopping spree on Ebay on Thurs and Sat!
With some of my Bday money, I managed to buy some Clinique toner for £10.50 inc P&P (normally about £20), a pair of black suedy slouchy type boots (to go outside of jeans) for £17 inc P&P, a wonderful brown belt from Warehouse for £10.50 inc P&P, and my best bargain was on Sat night ... a pair of hardly worn beige calf length leather boots for the grand sum of £8.65 inc P&P!!!

Recently I also bought some perfume on there (100ml - Ralph Lauren Glamourous - normally about £40) for £8.50 inc P&P.

That auction also ended on a Sat night, so my tip to you is, if you want to buy something, try and find items that end on a Sat night, the later the better as there aren't so many people on there.
I used to buy things that ended weekday lunch times so I could bid and make sure I got them item, but I always used to bid too much.
Now, I just put in my max bid and let the auction do it for me, as I don't have a PC at home, so I can't get tempted to over bid!!

It's fab - can't wait until Feb when I have some more money to buy some new CD's!

I tend to watch an item I'm interested in and put my bid in with seconds to spare. Got DD a lovely Mulan outfit on ebay last night - brand new with tags for £7.

I do this if it's something I really want that is ending whilst I have access to a PC, but my best bargains all have ended late at night at the weekend.

I always put in a bid at my last opportunity though.
No point bidding too early, but sometimes I just can't wait!

I too love ebay, I have spent thousands on it over the last few years, including two cars!!

I buy most of my Disney Pins from ebay in the states as it's cheaper and I have bought clothes, toys, hallowween stuff, christmas presents, Disney stuff, travel books, cake decorating equipment, a washing machine, a dyson etc etc, the list goes on and on! :rotfl2:

I do the same unless I'm selling... then I want a bidding frenzy :goodvibes

You got a bargain there Joanne :goodvibes

Congrats Karen ~ I love Ebay too. I probably will not buy cosmetics from a shop again.

Me too, or perfume.

Why pay £40 for perfume when you can buy one that has had 1 spray and the person decided they didn't like it. :confused3

It seems mad to me when I see people buying cd's etc too.
Ebay is so much cheaper.

Cars, Motorbikes (Spare Parts for both), Nintendo games, books, computer partsn niff-naff and trivia - all bought or sold on Ebay, it is fast becoming an addiction (of sorts)

Gotta love it though!!!!! :rotfl2:

i love ebay as well ..... games for ps2 and gameboy, books, cd make-up perfume toys !! i never buy an item in the shops without looking on ebay 1st

im a bit naughty though and will confess to using a sniping site if im desperate to get an item :worried:

Sorry I really don't know much about how ebay works. Can someone give me a quick summary? What is a sniping site?

Well Done! It's exciting winning an item especially when you know you've got a bargain :cool1:

Excellent, well done, you've got some great bargains there :teeth:

Its software that places a bid during the last few seconds of an auction. It helps prevent you neing out bid and pushing the price up higher. Its very common on ebay.

I just do it manually though!
