I just let a stranger use my home phone: Was I had?

Being a good semaritan I let a stranger use my phone because hers wasn't working and I'm affraid that maybe she used it for bad she said she couldn't get through to bell. Can someone use our phone and some how fraudulently do something? I wanted to call bell now but there closed.

I dont think they can, I know when my phone doesnt work I cant get a hold of Bell. They only thing I can see them doing is long distance.
Does this person live in your area? Was her home phone or cell not working?
I wouldnt worry, were you around when she was on the phone?

I was there. She said her cell was dead. She said she moved in across the dtreet and she did give me the name of the owner which I do know was correct.

Porbably her home phone was waiting to be connected and her cell probably wasnt working for some reason. at least its nice to know that thier are good people in the area that would be nice to let you use thier phone when in need (wish there were more neighbours like you) I remember neighbourhood watch growing up and you would know who your neighbours are and others on the street.

You are a good person for this, doenst sound like you should be worried

How long was she on? She can't do that much damage in 5 minutes.. even at 3.99 a minute.

I usually dial the number for the stranger before handing over the phone.
