DD had a friend invite her to sleep over at her house tonight, but DD can't do sleepovers right now because she's been sleepwalking a lot, and I don't want to think about what could happen if she walks in her sleep at someone else's house.
So we (RELUCTANTLY) invited the child to sleep at our house. They're in the living room on the air mattress watching a movie, and the little girl is just coughing and coughing and coughing.
I asked if she felt sick, if she wanted to go home. She said she feels fine, just has had a cough for a couple of weeks.
Yeah, so feel free to hack away in my daughter's face all night while you sleep so that she'll be sick for the next couple of weeks.
Reason #314 why I hate sleepovers.
(I told DH I wanted to call her mom and say that she's coughing a lot and should probably go home. DH said I'd better not dare!)
